I agree, and to play above average defense it will require playing a lot harder than they did last night. Harrison ran the little weave out on top last night especially late in the 4 quarter and got to the rim at will. Harrison County will be a tough out of their district next year, and will be in a position to make some noise in the region. Those kids play hard, shoot it well, and are well coached.

Mason Co./Pendleton Region 10 Semi-Finals 3/5/11
Sometimes those that talk too much says a whole lot about those as well, and for the record the tournament has been held for many years at the fieldhouse and the games have always been won by the play on the court and not from the talk in the stands, thank goodness.

George Rogers Clark / Scott predictions 3/5
From my viewpoint last night, it looked like there were some chemistry problems on the court between a couple of GRC players. Division at this time of the year will never help.

No avoidance cause really I could care less, just simply telling you I don't have to answer anything in response to your post. It wouldn't matter anyways cause you seem to have all the right ways and answers anyhow.

Scott 99 Augusta 69
What a fitting ending for a man that has had a great career not only as a player but as a coach. Robin Kelsch's are a dime a dozen and to the community of Augusta I know they realize that. Congratulations Robin on your career and to the Augusta faithful on a nice season and what better way if it had to end than in March and at the regional tournament. A new era to begin with that little jumping jack, spit fire of a coach in Jason Hinson. Augusta is in fine hands with Jason and I wish him the best of luck.

George Rogers Clark / Scott predictions 3/5
GRC will have to handle Scotts pressure if they decide to play it and if so then the red and black will dance to Monday and if they don't have any more fire in their eyes than last night it will be a battle till the end. Should be a fun night.

I never knew that I HAD to answer your question. For a few years now I have only one lady that I have to answer to and I have no problem doing that.

A win is a win but Not a punch in the gut start for GRC. Good showing for Harrison Co.

Do you think this has become more mental than anything else providing that there is a Mason/Clark matchup?

Mason Co./Pendleton Region 10 Semi-Finals 3/5/11
The only way that would work out is if they moved the Mason cheering section to the other side. This didn't happen last year.

Mason Co./Pendleton Region 10 Semi-Finals 3/5/11
Pendleton and Mason meet in the semifinals for the second straight year. Coach Simms and the Wildcats will be the home team, wonder what bench they will choose? My prediction will be they will slide down towards the lobby and avoid the Mason cheering section if they are not moved.

Student cheering section has been moved to opposite end of the floor behind visitor's bench.

Boys 2011 10th region draw
Mason is in the upper bracket, Clark in the bottom bracket so any possible matchup between Mason/Clark, the Royals are the home team

Keep in mind, a win is a win and that is all that is important. Congratulate the kids and move on, all the other talk is water under the bridge.

Bracken County 47 Saint Patrick 45
Congrats to Patrick Kelsch and his Lady Bears. I really thought that St. Patrick should have given Hamilton more looks on the inside. Wills was the difference maker for Bracken, much focus was on Sticklen and credit St. Patricks defense for slowing her down throughout the night but Wills was the one that made the hustle plays to grab numerous loose balls, hit some timely 15 footers, and the freshman steps to the line in a crucial situation and knocks down free throws. Bracken made the free throws in the end and for a team as young as the Lady Bears I think that is outstanding. I think they had 1 junior and 4 freshman on the floor at the end. Congrats and good luck. One thing is for certain, BC will not get Clark County in the 1st round next week, I think its wide open outside of GRC and who knows what can happen in 1 game.

Mason County 72 Augusta 45
Congrats to Augusta on taking their coach Robin Kelsch to the regional tournament in his last season as a coach. A real feel good story for this school and their community. Rob is a class act and the community support that backs A-town is tremendous as was shown in the bleachers this week. I will have to say its one of the best 39th District tournaments in a long time as far as attendance. Great job by all schools that participated.

Mason County 72 Augusta 45
I think I heard where he played 25 minutes in the game, he just makes this team better when he is on the court. You could take away his 10 points that he had, and you could say he still played a great game the way he sets other players up, how he reads the ball coming off the rim for a rebound, the way he directs the defense out on the floor. The kid is so intelligent and just a winner!

Mason County 72 Augusta 45
Augusta played for a half, Mason turned the Panthers over constantly in that half but weren't able to knock down shots when opportunities exist which sometimes happens. That was the only reason Augusta was that close in the half. Fraysure did all he could in the 1st half to keep his team close but that wore the guy out as well. Augusta could never give Mason all they wanted when the final score was 72-45, are you kidding me with this statement?

Just can never understand when your #3 team in the state, why in the world would you take jabs at the referees and make excuses as such when in the end you still win the game? Who really cares if Robbie only scored 3 points, that Daniels fouls out in the 3rd quarter, and who the taller team is......gee guys you still won the game whether its by 8 points or 30 points. In the grand scheme of things, the win is the most important thing and all that should matter, unbelievable!
