  2. I agree. I have the caps winning in 6, but I hope the rangers pull it off. Ovechkin is a great hockey player, there's just something about him that I don't like. Theo played amazing against the Wild last season in the opening round and then completely fell apart in the series against Detroit.
  3. Good call. I was trying to post, watch the stl/van game and type a paper. STL 1 VAN 2 Starting the 3rd I could definitely see NYR making a run. Washington's problem will be in between the pipes in the persona of Jose Theodore. I vividly remember his complete meltdown last post-season:rolleyes:
  4. So far tonight: PIT 4 PHI 1 PIT leads 1-0 NYR 4 WAS 1 NYR leads 1-0 CAR 1 NJD 4 NJD leads 1-0 VAN 1 STL 0 1st Period
  5. The Western conference is now set with St. Louis victory today.... 1. San Jose Sharks 8. Anaheim Ducks 2. Detroit Red Wings 7. Columbus Blue Jackets 3. Vancouver Canucks 6. St. Louis Blues 4. Chicago Blackhawks 5. Calgary Flames My predictions for the first round are Eastern: 1. Boston Bruins in 5 2. Washington Capitals in 6 3. New Jersey Devils in 4 4. Pittsburgh Penguins in 7 Western: 1. San Jose Sharks in 5 2. Detroit Red Wings in 6 6. St. Louis Blues in 7 4. Chicago Blackhawks in 5 It all starts Wednesday night :ylsuper::dancingpa:clap::popcorn:
  6. Several players will be taking pay cuts next season to stay in Detroit. I think this proves how hockey players are more dedicated to their sport than any other athletes.:thumb:
  7. I really think the Bruins are going to be tough to beat. That team moves the puck exceptionally well and Tim Thomas is having a Vezina worthy season. I absolutely hate the Red Wings. I don't care who wins it, as long as it isn't the Wings
  8. The Eastern conference is set 1. Boston Bruins 8. Montreal Canadiens 2. Washington Capitals 7. New York Rangers 3. New Jersey Devils 6. Carolina Hurricanes 4. Philadelphia Flyers 5. Pittsburgh Penguins The Western Conference will be decided after the games play out today. I think it's going to come down to the Pens and the Sharks for the cup.

  10. Agreed. Do women enjoy being treated like crap?
  11. That's kind of along the lines i was thinking.
  12. If I had a nickel for every time a girl has said that to me..... :madman: Errrr. Why? I just don't get it. Okay, I'm done, thanks for listening.
  13. Mac OSX is where it's at :thumb:
  14. I am a Christian and an Obama supporter. I look at it as that my Christian beliefs are exactly that; MY Christian beliefs. This country is not just for Christians and their values, it is for everyone and their beliefs too. My God isn't necessarily the same one the next person believes in. Although my belief is that certain things are wrong (i.e. homosexuality and abortion) it is not my place, nor our government's, to tell someone they are wrong for doing so. They will have to answer to my God in the next life for their choices on Earth and I won't have to answer for their sins. This country stands for freedom, so give people the right to choose, which they deserve, they will pay the ultimate price for their decisions.
  15. I went at 1030 and there was no line at all.
  16. I put other, but Im not sure if they are actually the rudest, but the rudest I have encountered are St. Louis Blues fans. They are extremely arrogant for team that hasn't been performing well as of the last few season and that has never won the Stanley Cup.
  17. This is also a problem that the NHL has encounter this season. The new Russian Superleague (KHL) has swayed a handful of talented players overseas. Jaromir Jagr left to play there and Alexander Radulov of the Nashville Predators, abandoned his contract with Nashville and signed a deal with a KHL club. I don't think it will be as easy to sway NBA players over because the majority of NBA stars are american born, whereas the majority of NHL stars, are from Europe.
  18. Although I'm digging this thread up... May it be noted that she has cursed the Flyers... They are winless so far this season:sssh:
  19. I am an RA at Murray State this year and I am sick of having the fire alarm set off by someone who doesn't know how to cook. Happened twice today, once at 12:30pm and again at 7:30pm. Not only do I have to run up to the 8th floor via the stairs to check rooms, but then I have a nice stack of paperwork to fill out once the building is clear and the alarm is reset. UGH! (It's been a long day)
