  1. As am I. But I do feel as if we can get past Detroit (when and if we play them) we have a legitimate chance at winning the cup. Montreal has defeated Boston in game 7 by a final of 5-0. I didn't see this coming and thought Boston would put up much more of a fight in this game. Washington is leading Philly right now 4-2 with 3 minutes to go in the third. If the Caps win we will have 2 games 7s tomorrow night.
  2. Very true. After Boston went 0-8-0 against Montreal in the regular season I dont think many people outside of Boston could imagine them taking 3 games from the Canadiens. However, Ottawa didnt put up much of a fight against the Pens.
  3. Guess not.... they fall to Dallas in 6. Detroit finished off Nashville tonight as well game 7 BOS/MON tomorrow night.... Im really looking forward to this game, as well as the SJS/CAL game 7 on Tuesday night. In the west it comes down to this: If the Sharks beat Calgary the second round will be: (1)Detroit vs (6)Colorado (2)San Jose vs (5)Dallas If Calgary beats San Jose the second round will be: (1)Detroit vs (7)Calgary (5)Dallas vs (6)Colorado The east is a little more complicated.... If Montreal and Washington advance: (1) Montreal vs (5)New York Rangers (2)Pittsburgh vs (3)Washington If Boston and Washington advance: (2)Pittsburgh vs (8)Boston (3)Washington vs (5)New York Rangers If Montreal and Philadelphia advance: (1)Montreal vs (6)Philadelphia (2)Pittsburgh vs (5)New York Rangers If Boston and Philadelphia advance: (2)Pittsburgh vs (8)Boston (5)New York Rangers vs (6)Philadelphia* *Only case in which NYR would have home-ice advantage
  4. The Rangers have finished off the Devils in 5 games.
  5. It woke me up in Murray this morning
  6. Ottawa had one of the best starts in NHL history this season... and it's all for nothing. As far as the west goes... I went to the Nashville/Detroit game 4 in Nashville Wednesday night. The fans in Nashville are amazing and you can tell that they really carry that team. They need to pack a few thousand of them with the team if they want to win their first road play-off game in franchise history. It's going to be tough to beat the Wings at the Joe. However, I think Osgood should get the start tonight after replacing Hasek in the second period of game 4 and remained perfect through the rest of the game. None-the-less this will be a fun series to watch. It looks as though Dallas in control against the Ducks. The Avs/Wild series has been a dandy, COL leading now 3-2 with game 6 in Denver tomorrow night. The Sharks/Flames series is going back and forth, with SJ leading 3-2. It will be very interesting to see who moves on, which could provide some excellent match-ups.
  7. Most of the first round matchups have been great so far. The Preds/Wings game the other night was excellent, Im really looking forward to watching that game tonight.
  8. I like the Stanley Cup Playoffs because of the unmatched intensity.
  9. Nashville had to take 1 of the first two in detroit if they wanted any chance in this series.
  10. You have to remember that the teams are reseeded after each round. It isn't a bracket. If mon, pit, phi and njd all win the second round would be mon vs phi and pit vs phi as it would be col vs det and ana vs sjs
  11. I will likely be working at either Hultman (screen printing/sign shop) or at Image Graphics (printing press)
  12. last night: DET 3 NSH 1 (det leads 1-0) BOS 1 MON 4 (mon leads 1-0) CAL 0 SJ 2 (tied 1-1) DAL 4 ANA (dal leads 1-0)
  13. The avs/wild game last night was amazing. Very intense. Joe Sakic added his 8th overtime playoff goal of his career (NHL record). As far as a clutch goal scorer its hard to argue against Super Joe being one of the top 3 of all time. In game against Edmonton a few weeks ago Sakic tied the game with 6.2 seconds left and won the shootout for the Avs. Calgary came to play against the Sharks. I wasn't expecting that at all. Pittsburgh is playing excellent hockey right now. They played an excellent game last night. Im going to miss the Preds/Wings game tonight, but I'll be tuned into the late game on VS. Id really like to see the Predators pull an upset against the Red Wings. This is going to be a great two months, imo
  14. tonight's games: PIT 4 OTT 0 (pit leads 1-0) NYR 4 NJD 1 (nyr leads 1-0) COL 3 MIN 2 (1OT) (COL leads 1-0) CAL 3 SJ 2 (cal leads 1-0)
  15. NHL because the playoffs are the most intense of any sport.
  16. Here is the match-ups for this year's Quest for the Cup Eastern Conf. Montreal (1) vs Boston (8) Pittsburgh (2) vs Ottawa (7) Washington (3) vs Philadelphia (6) New Jersey (4) vs New York (5) Western Conf. Detroit (1) vs Nashville (8) San Jose (2) vs Calgary (7) Minnesota (3) vs Colorado (6) Anaheim (4) vs Dallas (5) My predictions 2nd round Montreal (1) vs New York (5) Pittsburgh (2) vs Washington (3) Detroit (1) vs Colorado (6) San Jose (2) vs Dallas (5) Quarterfinals New York vs Pittsburgh San Jose vs Detroit Finals San Jose vs New York Stanley Cup Champions San Jose Sharks I really want to say the Avs will win it all and I hope they do but thats what my head is telling me.
  17. Yeah, the monthly fee is what kept me from picking up WoW, but I play enough where I dont feel like I'm wasting money. If I know Im not going to be able to play enough during a month I suspend my account until I know I will get my money's worth.
  18. Im about to start a few new characters, Im about to reach 35 with my undead rogue
  19. I was going to post to see who played and found this thread. My girlfriend talked me into playing with her a month ago. I have a 33 Undead Rogue. What server is everyone on?
  20. irvinePT i dont play much anymore now that I play WoW
  21. While I do think PT has an excellent program, it's hard to argue that they have the #1 program in the state never having won a state title...
  22. PT played a good game. They had some trouble scoring in the first quarter, but they pulled it together when they needed to.
