How? The other sports are set up the same way. The best team from each area. Please explain. As in most other sports this is starting to be a public/private thing. You couldn't have been waiting to long for us to catch up, most schools in our area have only had volleyball for 6-8 years. Sorry I don't see things the same as you "triangle" people do. I am sure I could find several schools from the "triangle" who have had volleyball for years and who havnt been good. :fight:

Didn't Russell County, from South central Ky, beat the camels, the region runner-ups, in the cake classic? Also Lafayette beat some N.ky teams they played and some southern teams played with them. Talent comes from experience, experience comes from tradition, tradition comes from time. :fight:

The golden triangle thing just cracks me up!:jump: I see more than 2 teams that are decent at best. I bet poor country school Rock or Corbin would play anybody that would play them. I've said it before, I'll say it again. It's not the schools fault, those from the "Golden triangle":jump: SORRY, won't play those poor country schools. Corbins coach as well as Rocks coach know volleyball as well as anyone anywhere. I remember the days when the only good girls basketball teams where from the "Golden triangle" :jump: . I'm not looking for a scapegoat. Just giving my opinion based on observation. Last year some doors were opened and things became acceptable behavior. Everything then was blamed on the principal. He's gone and lots of the behaviors are still there. It's funny how Draughn is mentioned in this thread because a leader of his style could help turn things around. I am not talking about his play but his attitude. I think the leaders of last years team headed down the wrong roads and several are still following. Or at least thats how I see it. :fight:

They are IMO what has made most of the problem. Coach Hines and crew are taking the high road and it will pay off. Will the new admin. let him stay the course? Who knows? I agree with Mr. Shue, there has been a talent drop off at Pulaski County. I don't agree with the coaches comments. sometimes the papers lead you with a question that maybe shouldn't have been asked or just a "no comment" answer should be given. The student body thing is nothing different than any other school has when a team is losing. Everybody loves a winner and everybody makes fun of a loser. :fight:

Watch college, D-1 they don't hop. The 12th region umps said "they don't call it at college", but when I watch it they keep the toe on the ground. I didn't see her crow hop and I watched her from different views. If she did, call it BUT make sure the umps are calling it EVERYWHERE. :fight:

I was there and the pitcher pitched the same way she did all year long. That tells me someone needs to get a hold of the 12th region umpires and get them on track. I am not sure if they were calling replanting, or "crow hopping" as some call it or they were calling her for being out of the line extended from the rubber to the plate. I heard both were called but I am not sure. The 12th region umps are the worlds worst for allowing "crow hopping". Everyone has been on them for years to make the call. southwesterns pitchers are bad for hoppin. North and South Laurels pitchers hop but when it is called they will then keep the toe on the ground. as for the commish coming out to tell them to make the call, I am assuming the better teams have been complaining about illegal pitches helping keep things even. :fight:
