State Volleyball on Friday Football Senior nights

Featured Replies

Okay annual complaint.

If you avoid playing volleyball on Friday nights all year long why play the state championship on a football Friday when 50% of the teams have Senior nights and there are many important district games to decide playoff participants or seedings?

Shouldn't be any complaining here girls sports are just as important as boys sports and after all this is the state championship volleyball tournament . Don't be so misogysistic . Long live Title IX .:flame:

NDA and St Henry do not have this problem.

Should read misogynistic in post 2 . The printing in my dictionary is really really small .

Neither does Assumption. Looks like we're good to go. State finals should include two of these three teams. (Assumption/NDA/St. Henry)

Maybe not directly. But how many girls at NDA have brothers at CovCath who has a small game in Fort Thomas this week.

Same thing for Louisville V-ball powers. How many parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends etc. have to make a choice of state volleyball or football on that Friday night.

Then play on Friday nights during the regular season. Isn't Friday/Saturday considered "Prime Time" by the KHSAA in basketball?

Maybe all football should play Thursday this week. Since this is a state tourney, KHSAA should mandate it.

As of 10:00 PM , that's a moot (or as some would say, "mute") point.
