Looks good to me, this is about exactly how I would rank them.

I would much rather be a preferred walk-on at a school like UofL or UK then play at a small school. Pitino actually has spole pretty high of him, and one thing about playing for Pitino is that EVERYONE has a chance to play.

What a great event for Lincoln County. The alumni scrimmage was very entertaining and the Red/White game was a lot of fun too. LC looked to have some pretty talented youngsters, hopefully they will mesh together and have a successful season. A pretty decent crowd too...

I would've gave the 12th region award to Hammonds too. I think this Jackson's best coaching job since being at LC. He lost a lot of talent over the past two years, and still was a major contender for the region. West, McCreary and Lincoln were very competitive with one another. I thought West and McCreary had a lot more talent than Lincoln this year, and LC was able to hang with them. I was glad to see West make a good run in the state tourney. I fully expect them and McCreary to battle it out for the region next year. Both will be very solid.

The biggest thing Lincoln has to do to improve is get the numbers up. They only dressed around 30 kids last year. That is not good for a 5a program, that has a pretty rich football history. Last year the team couldn't afford any injuries. Unfortunatley they had a lot of them, without a lot of depth. A lot of young kids got to play because of it, hopefully it will pay off. I am very excited about the staff Coach Settles has assemebled and feel like he will get the program rolling.

Austin Hines was the backup last year, and is the kid you are speaking of. I think he is a junior next year.

That was great execution, hate to see him miss that bunny.
