I think when Breathitt lost the Carpenter kid hurt them a little, leadership wise anyway. He was about a 6'4" Senior.

Change Lee and Jackson City in that sentence and that's my opinion! Good luck to the winner either way. -

You would still have to consider Buckhorn, Cordia, Owsley who's clicking a little better and even Wolfe also, but I think the four you mentioned are the top 4 seeds IMO. Buckhorn is most definetely in the mix. -
Cordia @ Buckhorn (Jan. 25, All A)

Barn-burn-er! I'd say this one will be an up and down, nip and tuck kind of game. I'm going to give the horn the edge with the home court here. Buckhorn 77 Cordia 74 -
Here's the scoop: Leebobcatfan is correct on the pre-sale of the tickets to the families and staff. No one will be turned away. When the gym reaches it's capacity, Lee Co. fans and Jackson City fans will go to a seperate location within the school and near the gym to watch the game live on a big screen TV. The game will be filmed by one of the TV class instructors and a live feed will be ran to the big screen TV's. I don't blame any school that has a legitimate shot at the All A in hosting their games at home, regardless of the size. Goals are 10 foot anywhere I agree, but you have to admit that teams tend to play better at home in any league and any sport. This is a big game and could go either way. Breathitt did offer use of the gym, and Jackson City thanked them and told them it was nothing against Breathitt but they just wanted home court advantage in this game. I think the bickering between Jackson City/Breathittt is over with. Anyway, Jackson City has worked very hard to organize and accomidate both teams and fans. Play hard Tigers! :thumb:

The Jackson City/Riverside, in town, rivalry will probably always continue. These two have played each other for years. -

It's my understanding that Breathitt did not vote to seed this year either so they wouldn't have to play Jackson City twice. Just what I was told by severaly reliable people. One of which is in the Breathitt system. Oh well. -

No, Jackson had a pretty rough practice tonight. Don't think they got out until around 8:00 or so. Anyway sounded like a great game. Tough loss for Lee and impressive win for KCC. -

Was you at the game? I guess not. In football if one team gets 10 penalties and the other gets 2, does that mean the game was called unfair or one team just can't wait for the snap or stop from grabbing a blocker ect.. In baseball if one pitcher strikes out 15 and walks 0 and the other pitcher walks 10 and strikes out 2 does that mean the game was unfair or that one guy just can't throw the ball across the plate. Do you see where I'm going with this friend. Greenup was a much more physical team and pressed just about the whole game and played a man to man in your face bump in run defense. Jackson pressed some and played a zone. If you know basketball then you go figure. It doesn't take NASA to solve this one. Not being mean here but just trying to be like Barney and nip it in the bud before anything gets started. Greenup was very physical.
