Thanks LeeCoBobcatFan, you are a classy person. First of all Cordia played a heck of a ball game, offensive, defensive, rebounding ect... Not making excuses here and Jackson is in shape, but this was their 4th game in 5 days and a few players were banged up from the Buckhorn game last night, including Howard and Watkins for sure. Jackson showed signs of weak legs late in the second quarter but was still able to go into halftime with a small lead. I hate it for the seniors also, but they have had a great year and have some big games comming up. This team and their fans know what they can do and the team seems to be playing well together and have looked good as of late. The Tigers will be just fine! Thanks too Augger.

Don't know for 100% sure, so no one rip my head off here, but I was told tonight that Gilbert would be back if Wolfe makes it to the regional tourney and he was going to try and be ready for the first game in the regionals.

In a rescheduled game, Jackson City comes to Estill Co next tuesday the 21st.

WOW! Up and down all night long. Very fast paced/physical game. Jackson led by 3 at the half and came out the third quarter and took around a 10 point lead. The Tigers led by as many as 16 but Buckhorn would not give up. Buckhorn has a good team. Jackson's entire team played great once again. They struggled a little on the boards but made up for it elsewhere. It may not look like it but both squads played decent defense and if not, the score would have been well over the 100's as fast paced as this game was. I thought both teams looked good and the way the both played tonight, any team that runs into them come tourney time has their hands full. Good game Jackson and Buckhorn. Way to stick tough Tigers and good win. :thumb:

Not to take anything away from Leslie in anyway what so ever, but I've been thinking. Maybe, just maybe, Buckhorn did not want to show Leslie everything they had knowing that they will go head to head once agian in couple weeks in the 56th. Just a speculation, no one get fired up here, Leslie may just be playing great ball. This is only a thought?????

I sure hope PCC does not upset Jackson LOL, Just kidding, should be a great game though. I think the Tigers will keep up the teamwork and look good down the stretch.

I think the Tigers realize that come tourney time they have to play hard and play together and win no matter who is put in front of them. Whether it be the Rams, Bobcats, Wolves in the district and anyone in the region. I don't see them playing Breathitt as a distraction. If anything it would be a adrenaline pump going into the regional tourney. That's if the Tigers play well, as they have here lately and get the District Title! Go get'em boys!

Jackson looked great once again. Fugate and Howard lit it up and played awesome defense. The entire team played great D. Kilburn looked sharp as did Watkins, Thompson, and Davidson. I thought the whole team played great. The Tigers led by as many as 31 late in the 3rd quarter and the JVs finished the game. Jackson's rebounding was down just a little but the rest of their game looked great. Betsy Layne has some big boys. I think this team is playing really well and are wanting to have a good finish to the season. Good job once again Tigers! :thumb:

Yes it was a run and gun game. Jackson led by 30+ when the starters came out and the JV began to play. Kyle is a great kid along with the rest of the boys. Coach Lively has these kids respecting others and being respected. Should be a great grand finally down the stretch for these young men.

I thought the Tigers looked pretty good tonight. Howard hit like his first 8 or 9 shots and only missed I believe 2 shots the whole game. He had 17 points in the first quarter. Fugate also shot the ball well as did Kilburn. I thought the entire team played great D and looked good. Jackson really put the D to the Owls in the first half. I love the way this team plays together and the pride and respect they show in each other. Way to play Tigers!

This will be the makeup game from last week that was cancelled. This game is tommarrow at 7:30 with JV at 6:00. What's everyone's thoughts.
