  1. Just another reason this team loses so many 1 run games. 3 BB in the inning.
  2. Typical Reds management. We make a double switch and we take out the guy that is 2-2 with a BB, HR and 3 RBI. They drive me crazy.
  3. Why in the world are they playing Votto so far off the line against LH batters?
  4. 3 innings pitched, 75 pitches (40 strikes, 35 balls), 3 BB, 1 WP. He is all over the place with his pitches.
  5. He has no control whatsoever. He misses so badly so often.
  6. I already don't like watching him pitch
  7. I'm not Catholic, but I always liked Dale Murphy. I don't hate the Braves though either. As a matter of fact the Braves will probably be the team I root for to win the World Series assuming the Reds don't make the playoffs. People better get used to the Braves being in the playoffs because they have great young talent.
  8. Come on. He clearly didn't want Pete extending his streak. Both players acknowledged after the game. I know you're a Braves fan, I understand you defending the Braves pitcher, but it is what it was.
  9. Not only that, but Garber wouldn't throw a strike. Pete had to chase pitches out of the zone.
  10. It won't be if they win 15 or 16 out of 20.
  11. How much would such a rule change affect Vegas?
  12. Sure he wanted to stay, but the Reds weren't going to resign him.
  13. It’s a player to be named later, and I’m sure the type of prospect they get will be based on how well Scooter performs for the Giants.
  14. I'd like to see the Reds trade Roark or R. Iglesias to the Braves for Johan Camrgo. He is 25, a switch hitter, and can play infield or OF. He had a very nice year last year with the Braves hitting .273 19 HR and 76 RBI, but doesn't have a position this year due to Donaldson at 3B, and the Braves having a surplus of outfielders.
  15. Yes. I'll be shocked if the Reds sign Scooter to an extension. I hope they sign Jose Iglesias though.
  16. I can only imagine how many conspiracy theories you must come up with on a daily basis.
  17. Not really, but it's certainly not beyond the realm of possibility considering not one team in the NL Central is good enough to have ran away with the division up to this point.
  18. :lol2::lol2:Wow. That's all I can say about your post.
  19. I agree with everything except them signing Roark or Wood. I guess Wood is a small possibility if his market value has dropped because of his back issues, but I feel the Reds lefty they drafted with their #1 pick this year has an outside shot of being in the rotation next year. They say he is pretty close to ML ready.
  20. Agreed. It was either the Cubs or the Cardinals that had the same problem with Hurdle and the Pirates just a couple weeks ago. MLB needs to take a long look at Hurdle at his history of having his pitchers throwing at the heads of other teams, and make him serve a long suspension. That's the only way it will stop.
  21. Playing for next year obviously. Will give us a pretty solid rotation next year with Bauer, Castillo, Gray, Desclafani and Mahle. Trammel has really digressed in AA this year.
  22. Without a doubt the time I saw Rose Ann Bar attempt to sing the National Anthem before the Reds-Padres game at Jack Murphy Stadium.
