Foul count in PC/Somerset game was 20-7. Absear for Somerset played about 5 minutes for Somerset.

Because it’s probably true. If you have two 7 footers in the back line you can sit in a 3-2 zone and be successful with little coaching. If you watched there zone and pressure looks it was always random and had little structure. Good teams with good coaches got good shots consistently! The size is something that is hard to prep for. Imo it had little to do with coaching schematics. Credit to the coach for winning though you definitely can’t take that away from him! I just think there’s several coaches that would’ve won with that team as well. This upcoming year will be more of a true testament to his abilities.

I like this breakdown. Everybody is always thinking about the best scores in the region, but this end of the court usually determines who heads to Rupp.

I believe he is gone. They have had talks with coaches outside of the Hazard family.

No DCA or Somerset?

I would add Somerset to that list of teams to watch out for. They return Absear, Lewis, and Grundy. Also a fresh in Brock stevens who started the first half of the season last year. They might have the best returning nucleus in the region imo.

I don't think them lifting is the problem. Having heavy lifting days on a game day is the issue for some. IMO, they can't be well-rested and ready to go after destroying their muscles earlier in the morning. Lifting throughout the season shouldn't be an issue, but if I was the coach I would have an issue with it on game days.
