The Patriots travel up to Nicholasville to play an early-season matchup between two top five teams in the region.

This should be a competitive game. I think West size could potentially overwhelm the Pats. Robbins must stay out of foul trouble if they have a chance: West 54-47.

You may be right but when I've seen them this year Tut wasn't the main factor on offense.  In their big win over Somerset Murphy did the damage from the 3 point line.  I think the key question is whether Lincoln's 2-3 zone can get to their shooters.  Not only is Murphy a good three point shooter they've got a couple of other guys who can hit them.

Looks like you were spot on with this.

Lincoln was up 20-19 at halftime.  It was unfortunate that Lincoln’s point guard went out with injury from a very hard foul in the 3rd and didn’t return.   Also correct me if I’m wrong but I heard Lincoln attempted 10 foul shots to West’s 32.

Wow. Was it Baird that went out in the 3rd?

Yes

Baird came back in to the game in the 4th quarter but was noticeably limping.

The free throw differential was due to Lincoln choosing to foul on purpose to try to get back into the game.

He tried to come back in but couldn’t play but a few seconds and  had to be taken back out.   The game was very physical on both ends not just one.  The foul that took Baird out of the game should’ve been an intentional.

The foul differential was due to one sided officiating. The foul on Baird should’ve been a flagrant, the same player had multiple intentional/flagrant fouls that’s were ignored. Coach Jackson doesn’t get a technical called against him for no reason. Baird is now in a boot due to the nonsense! The refs let it get out of hand in the first quarter.

Lincoln, in my opinion, falls below functional on the offensive end without Baird. Though Robbins may be their best offensive weapon, Baird makes the show run. I think that is evident from what can only be labeled a collapse in the second half.

Hate to hear that about Baird. Hope he's back soon.

Bell was out for Wayne last night with an elbow(?) injury. Hopefully the 12th is getting it's injuries out of the way in the first half of the season....goodness.

At this point, I'm more impressed with Wayne County, and what they've been able to do with their roster than any other team in the region. The second year head coach is doing a great job!

How long is Baird out for?
