I can see that too. You might ask @ApolloFan98 or @jester270. They are your Apollo homers. I agree with you if they get stops they will be fine. They lost their secondary but that was really it from what I see in the preview above. I would use the Murray game as the test to see how they play this year. It's on the road. If they go down there and get blasted then they won't do well. If they go down and get a win then it's a team to watch. I think that's a fair assessment.

I agree. I can see Apollo winning that game but by not much. Probably 21-14. this game can go 21-14 Graves. Both teams are playing for second let’s be honest.

@OL1187 I would say Murray is their other loss. Looking the schedule. They play: Murray Away, Heritage Hills Home, OCath Home, Hancock County Home, Muhlenberg County Away, Owensboro Away, Graves Co Away, Madisonville Home, Marshall Co Home, Daviess Co Away. I said 7-5 but 8 wins is not out of the question. If Catholic comes into the game banged up after the Boyle Co. game they could win that. 7-5 is my prediction.

I expect them to win 7-8 ceiling and 4-5 floor. I think that's a pretty fair assessment.

Who are the new additions? I know Burns Middle School has been very successful these last two years. I would like to know who will be the QB after Max Johnson leaves. Who will be their backup quarterback this year. Coach Edges son was a great backup. He came in a couple games this year I believe Barren and Graves when Max got hurt and won those games for them.

Max Johnson is a very good football player. I have noticed on his and the Apollo Football college coaches visiting and offering him. Our area has a lot of really good football players and it's going to keep getting better. If this young man can get Milburn at RB and Williams the ball next year they will be a very tough team to stop. Do you guys seeing him getting offered to UK or UL?

District 1 would beat district 6. Owensboro would have beaten any of those teams in district 6.

If they lose to Apollo this will really hurt their RPI. I'm not saying Apollo won't win games but 4 loses will hurt them. I know they will miss a lot of those kids on defense at Catholic, but did they graduate every starting WR and RB? You could be right but I still think Catholic will be good.

When will the list come out?

I don't see them winning the 3rd region. Acton had to be taken out last night. They only have 5 really solid players after that the bench drops them. Watching other teams in our Region and district play DC they were not playing well against Apollo until Apollo had some technical fouls right in a row and against Catholic they struggled to stop Carothers. Will they be in the HUNT? Absolutely, but they are trending DOWN and that's not good.

Are they coming up a rough draft for the new football alignment?

Looking at the numbers I can see Highlands and South Warren getting back into 5-A.

Still shocked Daviess County is ranked 2nd. They are not a top 5 team. I think they would get beat by 8 of the top 10. Really interesting poll. Put them in the top 10 but they are not #2.
