In Jaelyn’s absence, Junior Ava Warner had a game high 16 points with McClain adding 13 points.

Jaelyn Jones took an elbow to her head in the last few seconds of the first half, she will be out the next couple of games for the Raiders.

Raiders struggled to match the Colonels physicality. Turnovers continue to be an issue for the Raiders.

I believe they are. Raiders played Sacred Heart yesterday afternoon and only lost by 12. Last year the Raiders lost 71-47 against SH with Quinn and Sarah. The young talent and inexperience is starting to gel.

Raiders had the lead twice. They are right on the cusp with this young group.

She played, I’m guessing 25+ points

She had been cleared to play Tuesday night (was coming out of protocol from pre-season). Was seen last night at SK wearing sun glasses a couple of times on the bench.

She had been in concussion protocol earlier and had been cleared to play. She was not ready and needed a couple of extra days.

They were missing Landon Lorms, Ryan Handorf, Gavin Lyons, and Nate Verax from football. Point guard, Holden Smith was also out due to injury.

A couple observations on the Raider side of the ball: -Ryle has only 2 players returning with substantial “varsity” experience- Jones and McClain - At one point there were 3 eighth graders on the court- who in time will be a force to be reckoned with. -Ryle is missing a leader on the floor- someone to calm the crazy or hype the moment. - Aschermann, Warner and Jones as the only Juniors need to step and fill this role as they seem to be on the floor the most. - Turnovers were a huge problem across the board for the Raiders. Raiders are going to take some licks as they figure it out this season, but the young talent will develop. Holy Cross has some ballers!

Cannon will be sending them off of Ryle's campus but from my understanding will not be heading to Lexington.

Ryle is super young and inexperienced. They will start their season at Holy Cross…
