Lakers close out the Warriors at home in dominating fashion. LeBron finished with with 30/9/9 on 81.5% TS, 2 TO’s, while playing 43 minutes at age 38 in year 20. Remarkable seeing him do what he does.

True story, a college coach came to Boyle to check out some of the players. Coach Haddix told him when he left he should go check out Mason Sulla at Garrard County because he had the size he was looking for. The coach said he had never heard of Garrard County and went and checked him out and was a huge fan. Coaches will find most of your 3-5 star kids. But your fringe kids sure can benefit from consistently being on the radar because of their teammates and the schedule they play on the big stage.

What about the year before that? Douglass had a lot more D1 kids than Boyle and got beat 34-7 at home.

Danville is a mid 2A school based on enrollment numbers. They’ve lost a few kids the past few years. They’ve gained a few kids the last few years (Bixler and Barnes). The schools in no way collapsing like some are making it out to be. It’s now next man up for the Ads. They’ve done it to themselves so now they have to face it. Those wishing for a merge, it’s not going to happen.
