  1. Joe Frederick? Would he have any interest
  2. He has a son that is in 8th grade that is a really good player if this is same Goodin that used to coach with Happy Osborne.
  3. Starks, but they also have a better one than that supposedly coming to Covington Catholic. Top incoming freshman in Cincinnati, supposedly top 5-10 player nationally. I think his name is Rajahn Griffith. I believe this is who they are referring to as he immediate impact player.
  4. I see your correlation but also, when Cooper has two division one players in McNeil & Kunkel they went to the state championship game, now to your point they got down early to a hot shooting BG team and couldn’t recover. Their defense, the last two years they haven’t had any d1 talent and have been beaten out by Cov Cath who had multiple D1 players and then this year beaten in overtime by Beechwood who has arguably the top sophomore in statw and a for sure D1 player. I would be on the side of more, the style has kept them in games with teams with more talent.
  5. No idea. The Taylor County twitter handle said they are accepting applications for boys and girls basketball. I believe their football job is open as well, think that coach went to one of the Pulaski County teams.
  6. Two years removed from three straight trips to the sweet 16, who is rumored to get this position?
  7. Had a decent record according to online and made the 5th regional tournament this season. Who is front runner for this position.
  8. Any leads on the new school in Scott County?
  9. He could be holding off so that one of his assistants can get the job if he wants to pick his successor.
  10. Agreed on Somerset with Lincoln, easily the two favorites in 12. I also forgot about Beechwood up here in NKY. I like Rowan County in the 16th. If I was going out on a limb and predict each region (some I know nothing about) 1 - Marshall county 2 - Madisonville 3 - Ohio County 4 - Bowling Green 5 - John Hardin 6 - Bullitt Central 7 - Male 8 - Collins 9 - Beechwood 10 - Bissop Brossart 11 - no idea, let’s say Lexington Catholic 12 - Lincoln County 13 - North Laurel 14 - Hazard 15 - Johnson central 16 - Rowan County
  11. Going region by region for teams who could be top teams Marshall county - assuming Harmon is there Madisonville Male Collins Covington Catholic - if mayer plays Lincoln County Johnson central I think those are some of the top teams without examining everyone roster.
  12. Hicks wasn’t runner up in three straight, two straight he lost quarterfinals in 2017. Aric Russell and Tim Sullivan are at the top of my list.
  13. According to Anthony Wireman on twitter, Morgan County is looking for a new girls basketball coach. I believe this is three stops in a row Coach Thomas has been a one and done the others being South Laurel & Nelson County. With the happenings at Fleming County before the season and his ties to the school, I wouldn’t be shocked to see him leading the Lady Panthers program next season.
  14. North Middle School is North Hardin middle school. North Hardin will be a team to watch over the years because North Middle obviously was very good and they will combine with J.T. Alton middle school in high school who also was good and have a big guy in the middle who is already 6'4 that plays AAU for one of the big Louisville programs, Manimal or Magic can't remember which one.
  15. Bourbon County is a real region threat depending on the draw. Obviously cant play GRC till the finals but if they could get the draw where GRC and Campbell go on one side and their on the side with Scott and Harrison / Robertson and Mason / Bracken then I can see them getting to the finals. Not sure they can defeat Campbell and GRC on back to back nights but I could see them defeating one of them on Saturday night.
  16. Is true, have already heard some names for this job including couple coaches from a near by region who have already been eliminated from the post season.
