Straitshooter Posted March 14, 2019 Posted March 14, 2019 They seemed to get a lot of bad publicity this year between the video of the kid that got ejected then the tweets about how fans, media, etc. that are associated with Taylor County acted at the region tournament (I think it was the region). Whoever takes over it appears is going to have to make some changes. I know every school and every coach has to deal with these things, but it seems these were a lot more noticeable this season.

The Taylor County twitter handle said they are accepting applications for boys and girls basketball. I believe their football job is open as well, think that coach went to one of the Pulaski County teams.
ACfan4 Posted March 15, 2019 Posted March 15, 2019 Yes the basketball coach for this year was their Athletic Director and was just as an interim after Maze Stallworth resigned before the season.

This job will spark a lot of interest from around the state. He has a son that is in 8th grade that is a really good player if this is same Goodin that used to coach with Happy Osborne.
ACfan4 Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 Name's I have heard mentioned are Anthony Epps who is currently the girls coach at Campbellsville High School, also Matthew Turner who is the middle school boys coach and was a Varsity assistant this year.
ACfan4 Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 Heard Scott County assistant coach Chris Willhite was interviewed for the job. He played at Campbellsville University in the 90's and is the all time assist leader there.
