  1. Especially if it’s something bad, it’ll leak before then. Too much technology for that stuff to work today. Someone will tell someone else in confidence and that someone will become your anonymous source you read about in the paper once their pockets are lined enough.
  2. I’ll take his inning over Hernandez’s any day. Honestly wasn’t awful as whole, but zero chance you can EVER throw an 0-2 pitch that is hittable to Yelich, especially that situation.
  3. Suarez with another bomb. He’s finally getting it back together. Makes it hurt even more now that David Bell absolutely just let Hernandez absolutely eat that inning and didn’t even warm anyone else up, let alone bring them in.
  4. Not sure the Cardinals did, but I know the Angels had another one. I believe his name was Adenhart (sp?) and it was a car accident.
  5. Since no one has named a starter I vote for @Jumper_Dad to move up in the rotation to make the start. He got us the sweep against the Astros, and has had plenty of rest.
  6. Dietrich sets the record for HBP in any series in MLB history. Let’s continue his streak of scoring.
  7. Suarez ties it up with a dinger! Castillo could really use a couple quick and efficient innings here. Bullpen nearly covered 5 innings last night. Could get interesting today and tomorrow if he can’t eat at least a few more innings.
  8. I agree and have noticed before that he seems to struggle a bit when spotted a couple runs. Hopefully that is being young more than who he really is. As far as negative stuff I don’t know that anyone has ever said not to post negative stuff. I think some just want positive and negative to be posted equally as they present themselves, and in somewhat equal length.
  9. Best part about Dietrich being hit 3 times, and the last one intentionally, is he’s scored each time he’s been hit. Heck, hit him a 4th time.
  10. I get the frustration in pitching to him, but he had 27 homers coming into the series, so he’s making a good case for MVP all by himself.
  11. A Puig triple and Iglesias homer in the 5th with 2 outs. Good thing because they were starting to feel very stagnant. 5-1 Reds.
  12. Christian Yelich's HR had a 114.2 mph exit velocity and went a projected 462 feet. That's his hardest-hit HR AND his longest HR tracked by Statcast (since 2015).
  13. If you get a guy to third with 1 out and Votto and Suarez coming up, you HAVE to score. Reds have to stop squandering those kinds of opportunities.
  14. Wow! Completely unacceptable, especially when things are going so well! Volunteering for the start while traveling was a bad call!
  15. The Reds head north to take on the Milwaukee Brewers who are tied for the division lead. The Reds, coming off a sweep against the Astros, who came to Cincinnati leading MLB in wins, have climbed to within 4 games of .500. Game times are 8:10 on Thursday and Friday and 4:10 on Saturday. Here’s to hoping the Reds can stay hot and leave Brew-city a little closer to the division lead than the 5 games they currently sit!
