Not at all. Just meant was looking forward to watching the NKY teams play. I feel Covington Catholic will have to get production from Walter or they will be going home tonight. Love Campbell Co and believe they will advance and possible make the finals.

Best player in state as I stated. Facing a faceguard box and 1 Fredrick kills you with his passing. Coaches son is way better than people give credit. Kid can really play. I have now seen Cov Cath six times and Fredricks plays so smooth and efficient. Never forced things and always seems to score at end of half’s quarters it’s happen four of the six games I been too. Kid can shoot- from 3, pull-ups, drives, passes, plays defense. Very impressed again. I love Thelen he’s the next in line of Covington Catholic Stars. The Mayer’s are so big strong and Walter is mammoth. Ruthsatz the coach defense is special appollo rarely got a free shot on basket after the first three minutes of game.

Tandy best player in state kid is incredible.

Kunkle had a tremendous KOB but got blown out by Trinity. Fredrick has been the best overall player all year long what I saw. Loved the talent of Scrubbs and he was the best player on the floor against Cooper. Mickey Pierson was tremendous. Maybe I saw Trevon team on three bad nights. Can’t wait to watch the Camels and Colonels. Wish I could of made the Scott Trinity game sounded like a war.

Let’s not act like Mercer is a good team or played a good schedule or like NKU and Middle Tenn is high level basketball.

1- thought Scott made a big mistake picking up trinity full and sure enough kid fouls and Powell makes 2 2- trinity has two fouls to give and does not foul and Robb hits a 3 3 Scrubbs get ball on dead run and clearly was fouled. Clear foul. Glad it was not called because I had picked Scott in my pool!

I see eight kids playing 16-20 minutes a game..... and all averaging between 8-14. Next years team won’t be as talented but I expect them to get out of ninth.

Okay here is my logic 1- FRedrick did all three. Team was top 5 all year brutal schedule, led team to Rupp and if this site reports facts he had many big offers. 2- Scrubbs- team was top 5, team at Rupp, highly recruited. Easily most talented senior in state. No knowledge of his grades or upbringing. 3-Kunkle- top5-6 all year, beast at KOB, got beat by arguably best team in state in a dog fight and played good schedule. Belmont is better than NKU and no one is arguing that. 4- Mickey Pierson - top 10 team, led team to Rupp going to St Louis. I have nothing agaisnt Faulkner just feel others were more deserving.

Congrats to Trevon but in my opinion Fredrick Kunkle are better

Kid has loads of talent and potential but when things do not go his way I have seen him go south. When he’s good though wow he’s a difference maker! From what I have seen in the five - six games I have seen. Teams focus too hard on Fredrick then the other guys Kill you especially Ruthsatz and Walter. Now the QB Mayer is healthy and he’s special.

Has zero to do with Fredrick their were four more players who are better in my opinion. That’s all. Kunkle isn’t better than Trevon come on man.

Houston looked worse at Cooper than he did at Holy Cross not sure that was a smart move. Ryan Schrand would get my vote for Coach of the Year along with Ruthsatz. Schrand for losing Houston and having a better year than he would with him and Ruthsatz for the incredible schedule they played and games they won is worthy.

I appreciate your opinions. I just don’t see it. Draud plays for lowly Beechwood sits in corner and jacks balls. I watched him have turnover after turnover in many games and he can not dribble Best freshmen in NKY and it’s not even close is Kelly Niece. Kid has a big time game who can read screens, score, defend, rebound. Draud living off Daddy’s name won’t make it to D1 just jacking balls and trying to score points. My opinion. Spencer and Houston will have to get a lot better. Of course they looked okay playing with Kunkle where night in and not out every defense was trying to stop Kunkle, Runion, McNeil. I’m not touting the Colonels and their arrogance rubs me wrong at times. I just see more talent with the best coach in Park Hills. Six straight regional finals beat one in my book.

Was huge in Ninth Region Finals

Very impressive thanks coach. My point is Ruthsatz is averaging around 30 wins a year will be favored for region I would think after seeing the ninth region this year and lack of talent next couple years. But you are correct that Holmes run was is super impressive. Probably why everyone says the Holmes job is a gold mine lots of talent year in year out. Thanks for pointing out. Was Henley the coach during that run. I was always impressed with him as a coach.

Everyone gets their opinion if he was that good his team would be playing at state, and would be ranked in state top 20 and not going to NKU

Only kid in tourney whose sister is better. Only kidding fine young man class act and heck of a player. He and Jolly will be a tough out.

They won lots of games with out Mayer but will agree Madison Central game he was special and took the team to another level. CJ is the leader with his play but he looks so much more comfortable- confident playing with AJ. AJ CJ bond on the floor is special and Covington Catholic fans I have talked to express what class kids they are off the floor. I do think Walter will need to be the Walter Xavier recruited he has been a yo yo all year. One game he looks like a force the state hasn’t seen another game totally not engaged. Kid is special and huge and if you hadn’t seen him look out. 7-2 and 275 is a big big kid!

Lots of talent. Looking forward to seeing Walter on the big stage. Fredrick has carried the Colonels in the games I have seen. But this kid will be counted on if you want a ring. Covington Catholic will only go as far as Walter. Are you going to get the Xavier Player or are you going to get the little league pouting. Wouldn’t be surprised if Mayer’s play a big role if the Xavier Walter does not show up.

I agree Covington Catholic will be the favorite by I think the region will be way way down. Thelen and Mayer will be beast and I love Green, Diesken, Davin on the JV team. Not sold on Beechwood and Draud shooting 30 percent and shooting 25 balls a game. I love Sullivan but the magic is over at Cooper Walters, Houston are a long way from Kunkle Runion. I will miss Fredrick Kunkle Runion Hall Mayer Walter Ruthsatz and all the BIG names the region had this season. Going to be way down.
