Trinity is the clear favorite to bring home the hardware at Rupp.They are really really good.Love Powell and Johnson the best 1-2 Punch in the State.Add Scrubbs and no one has the firepower that Trinity brings to the table.

Covington Catholic has had the same talent through the years. The difference is the culture changed the minute ONE PERSON walked into the halls in PARK HILLS. That one person has focused his program 100 percent on development year round. His coaching staff is second to none when it comes to development. It will only stop if he leaves. Covington ton Catholic will be a nightmare for next five years. Word from a well known local college coach they have the best 8th grader in the state of Ohio coming and he’s a potential NBA player. IF your laughing he averaged 35 points for all Ohio red Nike team. If he does indeed show up and it’s true god help the ninth region. Sullivan one regional finals in 10 years , Ruthsatz 5 in six years not much of a comparison Mr Sixer.

Schools come to Covington Catholic to see their other players Frederick and Walters - I assume he has gotten on schools radars from their recruitment. Not sure who he played with this summer.

Tough to get minutes at the 4-5 with a group of players of Walter, Thelen, Mayer brothers......Im hearing Thelen is getting D1 attention, Congrats to him.

This is a pretty good example of the problem with computer ratings. They can be misinterpreted. Trinity is the best team.

Covington Catholic will start Frederick, Ruthsatz, Davin, Thelen, Walter......When AJ Mayer comes back he will be the four as a starter or six man depending how deep the run is. AJ can play the four or five as can the athletic Thelen who they seem to be super high on. That leaves Micheal Mayer, Deere, Nowak battling for the seventh, eight man spot. With their guards being three year starters they will not have to play more than eight deep. Will be interesting.

The 33rd is DEEP. Someone already mentioned Savannah Jordan not being on the list and she can really play. Strong junior class in the 9th. I read that Maddie Burcham got an offer from Georgetown College.

They have better overall depth where Cov Cath first couple are better. I was not aware Micheal Mayer was top 3 in the state in the 2020 class that is a real real stretch. Love Coopers Chemistry and ability to know their roles. Where kids are ranked do not correlate to wins and losses, many times teams like Xavier - Louisville do not have the best talent in tourney but win huge games because players roles are defined.

Cooper is the favorite in the ninth.....Sully has been able to add a lot of nice pieces with transfers their overall depth sets them apart from Covington Catholic
