Anyone that says "Paid position" like it is another $20k a year doesn't know what's going on. This isn't Texas where the coaches make more than the Superintendent folks!

Wilson is a senior...and was the opening day starter. He is back. Schwalbach is out. Starkey is back. Sparks is back. Cramer is a go. Huber is a go.

I don't think it's one loss, to be fair. I don't agree with any fans or alums jumping ship, period, however. Not from here and didn't go here, but it's where I live and who I'll support....DV or Field House.

This is a true statement. There needs to be a monumental change in the attitude, intensity, and tempo of this team...coaches all the way down.

Kool-Aid? Seriously? Second most wins for a HS program in the country. Most state titles in KY. 6 or 7 in a row. Sounds like that was the real deal to me. :shrug:

From what I've heard, Wilson may be back this week possibly. I believe Schwalbach is still out. Furthermore, if we are going to play the sophomore running backs, there's no way in this universe I'm giving the ball to the kid that coughed up two of them last week. The other one didn't fumble once. In this game, as in all games, turnovers will undo you faster than anything else. Ball security is the #1 priority for a running back, #2 is positive yards.

I'll agree with the culture comments as well. I played for a not so good high school team, and when we lost, we went directly into the field house - period. I just feel like if you don't hate losing more than you love winning, you shouldn't be playing high school football.

It's a coaching issue. Period. Last year you have the worst team in the last 60 years and you hardly play any underclassmen. I mean, hell, could the sophomores and juniors do worse? I think not. They continue to just let seniors have the positions and leave them there. They don't make adjustments. Sorry, but when you have a QB that can't hit a pass further than 20 yards downfield, you start splitting time at QB at a minimum if not making a change.

This is also incredibly telling about what you know about the program. He didn't play JV all year....he played freshman, because he was a freshman. Additionally, you're insane if you think he was the best player on the team last year.....as a freshman. Granted, he's a stud, but you need to be realistic here.

What "best player" played JV all season last year? Because I watched every single Varsity and JV game last year in person, and I'm confused.

No, not a list of who is out officially. They were out for last game (either before or during), so I would say they are at least questionable for this one. I hope they are all back or it could be a long night.

Beating a drum over taking down a HHS team that has a kid playing RB for the first time all year because the other two JV RB had to play varsity? Add to that the defensive players that have been pulled up due to injury. Congrats on the win, but come on.
