  1. 35-7 Hell of a play by SC. Midline fake, reverse fake, 40 yard pass to set up a quick score. 6:02 Q2
  2. Schwalbach may be done from the looks of it. He's walking around the sidelines but helmet on the bench still.
  3. Schwalbach driving us down field. Slammed head off turf. Getting concussion protocol now. Backup RB coughs it up on the 3. SC recovers in the end zone.
  4. HHS onside kick. Casey Greene recovered. First and 10 birds from SC 43
  5. Shovel pass Schwalbach. 30 yard gain. HHS punched it in with Schwalbach from the 1. 21-7 SC. :13 left in first Q
  6. HHS 3 and out. SC throws a bomb and looked to be PI on the offense. No flag. TD. 22-0 SC 3:39 left in the first
  7. SC with a big KO return to mid field. Converts fourth down to keep alive. Punched in from the 2. Took about 10 plays. 7-0 SC
  8. I'll try to keep this thread updated with all scoring
  9. You're right...that's where the Highlands Bluebirds page directs you for the live streams.
  10. I believe he's back, but not 100% sure if that's the case.
  11. I'll be at the game, and I'll do my best to do updates as well. I do think there is a live stream of the game tonight as well. Pretty sure you can go to the Highlands Athletics page and pay for the live stream (all games available I think).
  12. Oh trust me, I'm with you. If I were calling the shots the personnel and play calls would be different than they are now. Scholleman doesn't have the same downfield arm that our QB had last year, so that factors in as well I think. Veneman had a ton of 30+ yard catches last year....I don't even think we have thrown that deep to him more than once or twice so far.
  13. I agree. He was pretty much our only real downfield threat last year and this year everyone is hip to it.
  14. That's because he hasn't done much....nor have any receivers really. Catches here and there, no one over 100 yards yet in a game.
  15. I was watching from behind the end zone on the far side of the stadium, and that punt was 100% a fumble that was missed. The block in the back, was also not a block in the back. I think there is a youtube highlight video that shows it pretty clearly. Bottom line, Highlands squeaked out a victory after another slow start. The turnovers are what saved us, considering we had 29 rushing yards and a total of 200 of total offense compared to 360 from CC. CC definitely should have used their Big Ben sized QB in the run game more. He didn't look very sharp in the second half through the air at all. Highlands' QB looked light years better this week than last week and the previous week against X. He should improve through the year and add more down field threat to the O, I believe.
  16. The defense for the Birds is much better than the defense last year that gave up 40+ points a game last year, but the offense is not the same high powered air it out one from last year either. This team seems more hungry, more scrappy than last year's team. I think that many will be surprised with how good of a game this actually is. #GoBirds
