Who would you rank them in front of? The top 5 in 2A are really strong.

The Colts play a very good schedule each year. In no way was this directed at Desales. If you are playing in December and we are not, you have another fan cheering for you as your fans showed support for us last year.

I agree with you tiger, but this was not what this thread was about. It was about good small schools beating bad large schools and then acting like the had just beaten Trinity, Male, St X or Simon Kenton.

Just an observation after reading many threads. Doesn't matter just thought it might start some conversation. That is the point of this sight after all.

Should be a good game. Should be fun to get a preview of the playoffs in September. Not all schools are willing to schedule these types of games in the same division.

My point is just because a smaller school plays a 6A team it is not a feather in their cap. I see 2A and 3A teams ranked in the top 10 or 15 touting that they beat a 6A school ranked in the mid 70s. Just an observation on my part. Not knocking any 6A schools here.

The 2A schools always tout how many 6A schools they play, but lets face it the majority of the 33 6A schools are not very good. We all know the few exceptions that are outstanding from year to year.

Maniac is really going out on a limb here. He picked all the defending state champions with the exception of CAL. The Mayfield marketing department has done its job and gained his pick for 2a champions.

Cal Trailed for first time this season in the first quarter after some less than stellar play from our offense and some questionable defensive personnel changes that were corrected in the second quarter. The kids found a way to win when everything was not going smoothly. Good win over a good team. Look for both teams to go deep into the playoffs this year.

Central Hardin has the best grass field I have seen in years. It held up a lot better than I expected. The grounds crew needs a lot of recognition and I am sure they will be hard at work this week-end getting it ready for the next game.

I know the offer was made to move, but apparrently Central Hardin wants to ruin there feild for the rest of the year.
