Make stuff up? I have no reason to lie over what happen. The flag banner was destroyed by One of your students. 3 girls came over on to our side in front of the visitors section in front of all of our fans and stood in front of our student section causing a distraction yelling while the guy stole our flag banner and destroy it. The banner I promise you is gone and was not returned intact. I have no reason make anything up. I never one time said that running through your banner was alright. All I said was you should have had your banner on your side of the 50. Every Rockcastle football home game We never exceed the 50 yard line in fact the officials always have us to start curving our spirit line so we can't exceed the 50. Do you disagree that the cheer leaders wasn't on our side of the 50 yard line when our team ran through our spirit line and then thru Wayne county's banner? Did it really not even occurr that it all could have been an accident? I don't know if it was even intentional and honestly haven't heard either way. Yet everyone on here seems to want to point the finger and say ohh look ? Rock was so classless and did it on purpose. All this would have been avoided had you done like probably every school in the state does and did your intro on your side of the field.

i hope we do get to see a rematch. Don't worry tho we don't have our flag banner to bring with us the next time. That's thanks to your classy fans . First thing you wanted to bring up and couldn't wait to tell everyone about was your free or $2 banner at most but now that your fans and students actually stole a $150 lamented flag banner and ripped it up which is actually s crime. You are quickly to move on and push it under a rug. Your school administration should be coughing up the money to replace the school property as it belong to the school. So I certainly hope for a rematch and I believe we will get one this year.

The banner flag was laminated and cost $150 guess they don't care about that happening. But we're the one's that showed bad sportsmanship. Both sides were at fault but at least we didn't destroy anything of value the banner they run through no were near cost what they destroyed yet you never heard any Wayne county fan say a word about that.

In 30 years of watching football I have never seen another team bring there banner on the opposing team side right in front of there players either so it works both ways

Wayne county didn't want us to have a pre game entrance with spirit line they wanted the entire field for their entrances. Do the visiting team not get to run out thru a spirit line with a banner they work on? Come on if they didn't want something like this to happen then they should have kept their pre game entrances to their side Of 50. We were intimataded and that's what Wayne county though by running out at the opposing team. Especially on their side!

Does each team not get one side of the field for pre game ? We was on our side. Wayne had their banner on Rock 35 yard line? How much more disrespectful can you get? If Rock had their banner on the Wayne county side we be having the same discussion oh how disrespectful Rock is they had their banner on Wayne county side.

Let's just put it like this when you have your banner on the opposing teams 35 yard line what do you really expect to happen? Each team is aloud there side of the 50. When the other team comes on your side during pre game and entrance that is being disrespectful. If you want your team to run thru the banner keep it on your side.

We wouldn't want you to let up we held you to another field goal even when the game waa done decided. I was only saying you can't call a one side affair in my opinion that is as class less as anything Rock done. The game was chippy both ways some poor ref calls on both sides of the game. The game played was physical and hard hitting Wayne came away with the win in this one. See you again come playoffs. The whole banner ordeal for anyone really wanting to know. Rock fans go out for the spirit line refs attempt to keep our fans from being able to do this because we had to many and was taking up about 40 yards or so and Wayne County had the banner on our side so when we ran thru our banner some how we ended up running thru theirs to. I don't think it was intentional but they had it over on our side of the 50. Not really sure

Rock was inside the Wayne county 20 yard line 3-4 times tonight as well wasn't like Rock wasn't moving the ball. Wayne D held Rock on the 1 yard line Rock thrown int in the end zone right before halftime would have gave Rock lead going in to the half. Let's not forget Rock defense stopped Wayne on those drives is the reason they didn't score. Wasn't like Wayne was letting up any throwing the ball 80 % of final drive up 24-0. Not forget the non obvious late hit out of bounds on our qb Brent only to have him flagged for returning the favor doing same play to the guy who did it to him of course the refs seen that one. Like i said we will be back

I wouldn't say Wayne County was more physical than rock. The score was 3-0 at halftime. Forget that part? I give Wayne county credit they was able to keep the intensity up for 4 quaters and are a solid team. Wayne tackles good and they hit hard. Rock got wore down same guys playing both ways the entire game with lack of depth will hurt you against teams that are equally as good. No excuses but the sick bug has been going thru our team and is something you just have to play thru. We got issues as a team we need to work on but Wayne isn't 4 TD better but tonight they was. We plan on being back you haven't seen the last of the Rock. Good luck until we meet again.

24 hours from now we settle the dust for number 2 in 4A. Know Rock practice hard all week and feel confident and ready. We shall all find out tomorrow! Good luck to all!

It's Tuesday before the epic showdown between TWO TITANS battling for what most consider the #2 spot in 4A and in the driver seat to host the odds on favorite to win 4A Johnson Central and we have little chatter being done now LOL

Would it be fair to say the winner of this week's game between Rock and Wayne is sitting at the #2 spot come Monday?

Kneeling during the national anthem in my eyes is distasteful and shows pure lack of respect. If kneeling is considered you making a statement that you don't agree with how the country is being ran or if you are wanting to make a change in what you consider to be wrong based on how you believe and If I was a head coach and had a player come to me and say he was going to sit or kneel during the national anthem I would look the young man or adult in his eyes and ask him how he thinks kneeling during the national anthem is making this country a better place to live? The national anthem is supposed to be taking pride in where you live and honoring those who died so you could suit up and play football or fans and parents could come and watch you play. Kneeling is same as spitting in the faces of all the current active military and those who died defending your freedom. I would then tell that young man or adult to enjoy sitting on the bench until he could learn to comprehend the meaning behind being a leader and if he didn't agree then he could go play else where.

I don't normally like to defend Somerset and usually don't but let me say this from first hand experience at watching them. Somerset front 7 if they remain healthy when they play Danville and LCA will give both teams all they can handle. They may not be the biggest boys but they are as fundenmental sound as you will ever see in a defense. They are very stout and there secondary is solid as well. They have just enough speed to gang tackle when you catch the ball and are always scrapping and ripping at the ball trying to strip it away. If you don't take Somerset serious you will end up on the wrong side of the score board just as we did last week and the other 3 teams that they beat for their 4-2 record. The one loss to beechwood rainstorm hurricane or not they still would have been able to keep the score low enough to make it very respectable and who knows the rain may have hurt there offensive game plan too. It works both ways. So if Danville and LCA don't want to show you respect let your defense go earn it like they always do and who knows Somerset could be there first losses for both teams. I don't like Somerset (don't take that the wrong way) but you have certainly earned my respect.

Honestly think the loss to Somerset will do the Rock good heading into this game. Rock will be focused and even more hungry they were really down after the Somerset loss. Now all focus goes to the Wayne county game look for Rock to win this one Rock 35 Wayne 27
