It will be the 142nd game between Bellevue and Dayton, the most contested series in Kentucky history. Bellevue leads 95-43-3. This game is at Dayton, and later in the year they will meet in Bellevue.

I hope the player with the elbow injury is ok. Sure looked nasty, and he was in some real pain.

Bellevue had turnover problems the 2nd half and had trouble tackling. Short on size and numbers.

I had nephews who played at a small river school that beat the Breds 5 times in a row-and when Jeff Smith was inserted as the starter was definitely the turning point.

1. Scrap the offense from last year. Since the OC is gone, it will be. 2. Get all the available boys who can help to play. Not being done. 3. Crank up the discipline and preparation, which in my opinion was lacking last year.

If offered, Doug would accept. But he knows they want someone in the building, and would be content to be an assistant.

Definitely should be expanded, bookend an extra week to make it a month. It’s important for the athlete, and his family, for that time. This may be blasphemy to some, but there is more to life than high school sports. More time with a coach does not equate higher performance.

As noted earlier, C C is not a teacher. He played at Bellevue, walked on at UK, and has been coaching since, most recently as Def Coor at Bellevue.

He(Montgomery) has said he is not interested. Styer is on staff at Campbell County again. C C Wood will apply.

And alum Chad Montgomery is the Dayton head coach.

Troy Styer was the offensive coordinator, CC Wood was the defensive coordinator, and Doug Miller was special teams coordinator.

I would say the top 3 assistant coaches who may be interested are not on faculty there.
