St. X (2-2) comes into the game coming off a 31-0 loss to Elder. Trinity is (4-1) coming off 34-0 win over Male in a weather shortened contest. Kickoff at 8:00 pm at L&N Stadium Trinity is #1 in the State and Nationally ranked and will roll into this game like a buzz saw. St. X after playing the #1 team in Ohio gets #1 team in Kentucky so jumping from the frying pan into the fire. St. X switched quarterbacks in 2nd half of Elder game and played sophomore QB Austin Jacobson. QB Willam Shoptaw threw two interceptions so not sure if that was reason was pulled or he was injured. St. X will have a tough time scoring against a really good Trinity defense and with all the weapons Trinity has this looks like will be a running clock in favor of the Shamrocks. I think the St. X faithful will be more focused on the tailgating than the game.

To me, should be Central forfeiture.

St. X got in redzone multiple times but couldn't get any points so give credit to Elder red zone defense. St. X had two interceptions also that didn't help the offense. Defense played better in 2nd half but Elder probably took foot off the gas some having big lead but was Elder lowest point out put of the season barely.
