It was a close call anyway you look at it. The play was called a TD, so let’s congratulate Belfry. Hopefully both teams meet up again next year at some point, or find a nice in between neutral site and play in the regular season.

I think the DeSales fan base would like to be known for the cowbells and not a few unruly fans.

Why move the game away from DeSales? They would lose their home field advantage with our students and fans being directly behind the visiting teams bench. Yes we have a small group of unruly parents, and I’m hearing that the issue is being dealt with.

DeSales 43 Henry County 6 final Colts played a lot of younger guys in the second half.

Play calling wasn’t bad, DeSales just has a really good defense. They was in the QB’s face a lot last night. 87 and 5 are hard to block for DeSales. Not sure if they are #1 in 3A but they are definitely top 3.

DeSales will be fine. To beat a team like StX you have to play as close to a perfect game as you can. Turnovers, dropped passes, penalties, and StX clicking killed the Colts tonight. StX looked really good and they could be scary good by the end of the season! Good luck to both teams the rest of the year.

Scroggins son plays at DeSales and I’m not sure but I believe Scroggins is on the coaching staff there.

DeMarcus Avery is no longer at Western. He transferred to DeSales
