The Royals travel up to Grayson tonight to take on East Carter, who wins? Why?

Seeing this Mason County team in every game they have played this season, they really didn't play all that well. Played good enough to win, just like on Saturday. When this team starts playing with some consistency they will be a tough out in the 39th and 10th. But the 39th is gonna be GREAT this season, with another huge game coming Monday in the Fieldhouse!

But beating a Fleming County team who is winless and at the bottom of the 16th region who most consider the weakest region in the state, a Robertson county team who basically lost 95% of their offensive production from the past 2 years, and who is pineville? But I guess if you consider those ok wins then more power to you.

Every single win the Royals have had this season is a higher quality win than anyone Bracken Co has beaten. If you consider the Bracken Co wins "ok" then you have to consider the Mason Co wins good and the Scott win great. No one is saying the Royals are elite yet, just simply saying right now the Royals have done more than Bracken Co has to this point.

Were you at the game to watch and see how it played out? If anything it being a "Free throw shooting contest" almost cost mason the game. They were up 18 at one point and never trailed, in the game last Friday it was clear-cut that Mason County was the better team. Not saying that later on Scott wouldn't beat Mason on a neutral floor but to say it was a joke or fluke is false. But on another note, great job on the rankings!

They win, if someone else can step up along with Crawford. Although I believe Crawford will have a less productive performance than he has had throughout the season with Pig guarding him, this game comes down to the players not named Austin Crawford or Pig Williams. Whoever wins the other match ups will win the game.

I agree with the Woodford County performance and they simply have to play better to win this one on Tuesday, but even though on paper it may seem like this one means more to Bracken, this game means ALOT to the Mason County players, they all have seen the preseason hype of Bracken and Augusta and have taken offense to some people saying they could finish 3rd in the district. They definitely will be focused and wanting to prove that they still are the team to beat in the district.

He will cause a lot of teams, a lot of problems. With his ability to attack the basket and his intensity on the defensive side. Him and Pig make a lethal backcourt.

So basically what you are saying is its alright for Bracken Co to beat Augusta by 40 because its a district opponent, even though they play in an unseeded district? Not saying these type of games are good for anyone, but there isn't anything that makes the Bracken and Augusta game "good" compared to the game played by Mason County today.

Could tell the guys were gassed in this one especially early on, It was great seeing this group be able to refocus and comeback to win this one in the second half.

Royals come out rested and play with the same amount of energy they did Tuesday and win this one by 15.

Exactly what I'm saying, it's easy to look at statistics and say one thing, but being at the game last night it was clear to me that Pig was the best player on the floor

I think the royals win this game with or without Pig, the seniors have to step up today if he doesn't play although I expect he will, and expect a big game from Garrison. I'll take the Royals by 10

Wouldn't surprise me to see Simon Kenton in the championship game on Tuesday

Going by the fact that the refs were a little "whistle happy" on both sides of the ball it would be hard for anyone to lockdown someone completely, but being at the game last night I can honestly say Pig had a "great performance" defensively, when he was in the game he took Ohmer out of the game.

Seen a lot over the past 2 years at state tournament, multiple classics and the regional tournament last season. Haven't seen anyone defend the way Pig has over the past 2 seasons, and until I do he's the best defender in the Region IMO. The state comment might be a little out there for right now, but we will see at the end of the season. Still I'd take Pig against any leading scorer in the region everyday of the week.

The best defender in the 10th and quite possibly the state, clutch, leader, and passionate. Tonight's game was just the definition of how he plays ball, everything on the floor every single night. Easily one of the most underrated players in the state.

I may be wrong here but I think most of his baskets from the floor came while Pig was sitting for foul trouble. If so, another great defensive performance by the best defender in the 10th region IMO

In the past that's how it usually has went, with the championship being after the 3rd place game on Wednesday. Ran into after the game as he was at a trash can throwing up, he had as much heart and passion for the game as anyone I have met. On another note the Royals were up 18 in the third with no intentions of slowing down when Pig picked up his 4th foul, if Pig stays out of foul trouble this could easily have been a 20-25 point win for the Royals. Great game though!

All in all it still would be really hard to pull the tournament away from the Maysville, MT. Sterling, Winchester, or Alexandria

I love the atmosphere the gym provides, especially when its packed like it would be for the Girls regional, that was just one concern I had. If you compare Maysville to Brooksville you're going to have more room at the fieldhouse but the fact it will probably be close to half-empty because the size of the gym I think the atmosphere would be far better at the igloo.
