I really think this team is a ticking time bomb. They might not be the most talented squad but it's still Highlands. While its not fair to these boys I feel they are carrying 100 years of birds football on their backs. When it finally clicks I feel sorry for whoever they are playing. I'm not even a fan of the birds and to be honest have enjoyed their early struggles but it won't last forever.

I don't see SK having a chance to hang with the Louisville schools after watching them play cooper. I haven't seen Ryle yet but if they can run and pass the ball it's going to along night for SK. Everyone says Cooper is basically a 5a school with no depth. Well Cooper held their stud back to 60 yards but didn't have enough playmakers to stop the pass or the designed QB runs. I think Ryle beats SK and neither score in the 6a title game if they make it.

I agree the only difference is Boone scored points in the state games. I think SK is more like last years Dixie team.

I don't think Coach Borchers values the TE position much. They converted a 6'3 240lb Jr tight end to tackle this year. Big kid with good hands that's in 3 way rotation at tackle. I believe he did the same the year they went to state.

I totally agree. The SK supporters forecasted a blowout all week. Either Cooper is better than you thought or maybe SK is not as good. Either way Scott County, Male or Trinity name the score against SK.

Enjoyed watching tonight's game. SK was the better team but I give the Jags credit they didn't quit. Not scoring before half and #8 dropping the pick 6 really hurt the jags. Both teams need to improve if they expect to make deep playoff runs.

Not a Conner fan. Just tired of hearing about a SK team that under achieves ever year. Has SK ever won state or played for a state championship? Heck Lloyd, Bellevue and Connor have won state. I would put SK in the same class as Campbell County in regards to tradition.

Who has Ryle beat this year? SK might be the cream of the crop but I doubt Ryle is 2 TD's better than Cooper.

I think the jury is still out. We won't know how good they are until the Cooper game. I think Ryles next 2 games are against winless teams.

I think Ryle wins a close one. While this isn't a district it's a big game for both programs.

A win against the birds this year will erase the first 3 games.
