5 of 10 on Oldham County's Schedule still in the Play-offs.
I know we talked about strength of schedule earlier in the year. I just found this pretty interesting fact. 5 of the 10 scheduled teams by Oldham County are still alive in the Play-offs. Ballard – Elite 8 6A CAL – Elite 8 2A Shelby County – Elite 8 4A South Oldham – Elite 8 5A North Bullitt – Elite 8 5A 3 of the 5 have a chance to advance to the final 4. Ballard will probably lose to Trinity and South Oldham and North Bullitt play each other.

Open Job: Oldham County
The Oldham County Colonels release Head Coach Mike Shatzer after 3 years. I think this is a bad move but being just a parent my opinion really holds no weight. My son has only been there 2 years but the team has improved greatly in those 2. Who ever takes this job is walking into a gold mine. 8 returning starters on defense. Your #2 running back, #3,4,5 receivers and #1 Qb. 3 of the 5 O-Line and there were over 100 kids this year with only 15 Seniors. Good luck to Mike in his future endeavors.

Current sophomores to look out for next season
quick question, according to NCAA rules, college coaches cannot do more than send a questionnaire or a camp invite to an athlete until September 1st of their junior year, how do these kids already have offers?

St. Xavier 35 DeSales 13 (Frosh)
Is illegal Forward pass not a loss of down?
-
St. Xavier 35 DeSales 13 (Frosh)
Also, of course the fans for X thought he was clearly behind the line when he threw it and the DeSales fans the opposite.
-
St. Xavier 35 DeSales 13 (Frosh)
quick question a flag during the game it was very confusing. St X. QB throws a TOUCHDOWN with the clock having 00:00. There was an offensive penality for illegal forward pass since the QB was past the line of scrimmage. I though the Quarter COULD end on an Offensive penalty? Apparently not, moved them back 5 yards, no loss of down and gave them 1 untimed down. I'm I confused on the rule?
