  1. Scott was called out for the mistake of having 2 goals that were awarded to players for PK's thinking they were supposed to be entered. So I did research and saw that Connor must have also made a mistake. My point in even making the post was not to call out anyone one program or player, but anytime Scott does something wrong I know a certain someone wants to jump all over it, leaving other schools that have made the same mistakes out.
  2. It seems like a double standard. Scott mistakenly records two PK goals being scored and it's a big deal, another school records stats incorrectly and no one mentions it. okay I see how it is.
  3. Sir, can I have you look at Connors goals? It says 74 goals have been credited to Connor but they only have listed as scoring 70 goals. Also both own goals by Cov Cath were credited to a Connor player.
  4. wow this seems like a big win for NKY. the more and more the season has gone on the more I have felt st Henry will challenge Cov Cath in the 9th
  5. FINAL: No. 4 Trinity 3, No. 3 Oldham County 2. Trinity goals by Fischer ( PK ) & Mueller & Ash OC goals Huerta ( PK ) and Thomas
  6. Someone mentioned Litzler scoring off a bicycle kick in another thread, wasn't there to see it but had to be an exciting moment. Can't leave hegertys goal out of this discussion either. Shot was taken from about 30 yards out volley outside of the foot that bent straight into the top corner. Goalie was frozen. Probably the best goal I have whitnessed personally this season
  7. Hegerty and Morgan were the two for the Scott team who scored their PK's, just assuming this could have been how this mistake was made. I believe in a thread on here last year there were questions as to whether after a game ends in a 1-1 draw and a team wins in PKs do you input the score as 2-1 or add the pks and make it 5-4 at this point. this is only a guess at what could have happened I don't know. Since the coaching change I'm not sure how stats are handled
  8. I think the best way to do it is look at number of goals assists a player has compared to total number of goals scored on a team. This shows how big of a role the player plays on the team. Just IMHO it's the most fair way to do it
  9. After speaking with a Ryle parent, the player is fine with no injury.
  10. My apologies, this is the answer I was looking for. I assumed that if stats were entered and a player is at 30 goals, and the stats aren't updated the next week, they he wouldn't go off the list. Given that he is still scored enough goals to be on it.
  11. But the lost starts at 26 goals. He was listed as having 30 last week. He should still be on there. they removed him from the list
  12. From what I saw, it looked like they both were tangled up which was caused by the goalie Seay for going towards the player, then as that happened the Ryle player was " pulled/shoved " to the ground by the Scott goalie. Did I think it was a foul? certainly, a card? certainly, in some cases maybe even a red, depending on the referee. Do I think that the player was seriously injured, from my point of view I would really doubt that. I could be wrong, but to me it looked as they fell to the ground that was simply it.
  13. The ball was in play, towards the right side of the 6rd box. The incident happened on the left side of six yard box. the ball was in no way a part of what happened. my estimates on where about everything occoured is probably off, it was just the only way I could thing to explain it.
  14. I was looking at the current stat leaders and noticed that Charlie Wend is no longer on the list. Prior to this past week he was listed on there with 30 goals. Anyone have any idea as to why he is no longer on the list
  15. If you re read my post, I said " The PK for Ryle was just not smart BY the Scott Goalie Seay. " I was in no way implying that it wasn't a foul, it was a stupid foul committed by Scott's goalie. The fact that the ball wasn't in the play, ( which I said ) makes it even more stupid by the Scott goalie. As far as the player going off injured, I believe there was a touch of good theatrics involved. It appeared to me from the sideline as a shove to the ground, and that was it. I would not have argued if a card had been given at all. Seems to me that you thought I was saying something other than what I said.
  16. yes Snyder scored the goal off a defensive mistake leaving Scott's goal wide open for the shot. Have to compliment him on how composed he was from about 18-20 yards out on a rolling ball to put it in the open net. Morgan was very deserving of his PK as he dribbled at 4 players outside the box worked his way into the 6yrd area where he was taken down from behind right before the shot was about to be taken. The other PK for Ryle was just not smart by the Scott goalie Seay. Frustration between him and another player just caused him to pull the other player down in the box while the ball wasn't even in the play. Desite that moment Overall good game and as I mentioned before a 2-1 win that could flip flop either way.
  17. I have supported these three players as being the top three all season and I still stand by that. One discrepancy in your comments is where you say Morgan scored 16 goals in 3 games against weak competition quoting your own information. He scored 12 goals against what you were considering weak competition. You might also say that he scored the only goals against teams such as Highlands & Cov Cath. Also Morgan did not play every minute of those games, however Morgan is the only target forward Scott has. When you look at what each of these induvisuals has done for their own team regardless of strength of schedule ( which no player has control of ) MORGAN has had a hand in 32 of Scott's 35 goals. Having 24 goals and 8 assists. DAY has had a hand in 21 goals out of 62 scored with 12 goals and 9 assists. SNOW has played a role in 31 goals out of 38, having scored 20 goals and 11 assists. As far as the Scott Cov Cath game, Day played a majority of the game and had plenty of opportunitys to scored but did not put the ball in the back of the net. Not taking away from how great of a player he is, but he did not purposely try not to score to pad his stats. I believe where as Morgan has played Target forward all season, Snow has played some midfield, and Day has played mostly midfield. Yes Days largest goal total in a single game is only 2, he is not the target forward for Cov Cath, does this make him more or less diserving than Morgan or Snow? I have to look at last year Morgan scored 16 goals and had 25 assists on what was arguably the best team in NKY ( making it to the state finals ) playing as a midfielder like Day is now & I would have to say he wasn't given much credit for that. This is why I tend to look at what has an indiviual player has done for his team, because it seems as if Day is getting much more credit on a quality Cov Cath team, than Morgan recieved as a junior on a quality Scott team. *** Just throwing this out there, comparing the quality of last years Scott team of the quality of this years Cov Cath team, because you cannot compare the level of quality players on this years Scott team with the quality of players on this years Cav Cath team.
  18. I feel like they're all legitamate goals. What I meant was that one was a " questionable pk, and 2 others were without 2 main defenders according to old time. Yes Morgan's goal was a free kick but it was during normal play against the normal starting back like where he earned a free kick by drawling a foul against the starting back line and scored on the starting goal keeper. The only other Northern Kentucky goals were SK and Holmes where I'm assuming that the starting defenders were not in at the time.. I could be wrong here, please correct me if so.
  19. Is Morgan the only forward from NKY to score a legitamate goal on the CCH defense starting back line? If so I would resubmit him for the OPOY spot, among many other obvious reasons.
  20. I'm thinking a 1-0 or 2-1 game. I could see it going either way. I think if Morgan is on top of his game I could see Scott coming away with a win. However I could easily see the scored flipped. Hoping for a clean match up
  21. Morgan with a goal, and an assist to Hegerty
