What is the best goal you've seen this year? Who and what happened......

Someone mentioned Litzler scoring off a bicycle kick in another thread, wasn't there to see it but had to be an exciting moment. Can't leave hegertys goal out of this discussion either. Shot was taken from about 30 yards out volley outside of the foot that bent straight into the top corner. Goalie was frozen. Probably the best goal I have whitnessed personally this season

Mitch MacKnight's (CCH) first goal of the season........player comes to every practice, plays hard, supports his teammates, but doesn't get a lot of pt........comes in the game, and 30 seconds later on his first touch, sends it to the back of the net...bench goes crazy......not flashy, no bicycle, but one of the better feelings from a goal.....

Dylan Geiman (Brossart) free kick goal against HHS. Hard, bending, and catches a little piece of the post at the upper right hand corner on its way in. A no doubter all the way.

 

Greg Fischer (Trinity) also had a fantastic goal against HHS. When he gets an open look on his left peg... look out.

Sounds like the free kick Morgan took against CCH

Only Frosh, but one of my boys kicking a free kick to the far post against St. Henry. His twin brother headed it in. They've wanted to play for Highlands for a long time, so for that to be their first goal for the Birds was pretty cool.

Wish I could have seen this, or got to view it on video. This sort of shot sounds very similar to one I witnessed a few months back.

JV Regional semi-final game, CCH v Holy Cross.

 

CovCath corner kick, the ball is played over the keeper and comes down about 5-6 yards past the far post and about 10 yards out from the end line. Charlie Bradley (CCH sophomore) takes it in the air and deposits a rocket volley in the opposite corner.

Lewandowski's 5th goal in 9 minutes against Wolfsburg. Epic. A "why not" moment. But we're probably talking about KY high school goals.

Chris Davis (SK) versus Walton off a corner, outside of 18 opposite side of where corner was taken, volleyed into upper v.

 

Kareem (Ryle) versus SK cross/shot. In transition, left side about 25 out, gets head up and looks to cross. Cross is miss hit and goes upper side netting.

Didn't get to see any of the above except for the pro goals replayed on TV but I did get to see a pretty good goal at a girls game. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know this is a boys soccer thread but anyhow here it is. HC girls varsity vs Conner. Young lady for HC bends a corner kick back post about 4 feet deep in the side net. I know that this was probably a miss hit (should have been in the box for her team mates to play) but it was still pretty impressive. Some parents in the stands were saying she was just a freshmen to boot. No pun intended.

I saw a goal at bluegrass that was pretty amazing. I was there for another team but a kid from Cooper (I'm thinking #9) hit a volley from about 35 out. The best part about this was his set up touch. The ball was cleared out by a defender and he took it off his chest to a volley that made everyone's jaw drop.

Saw another goal by Dunbar while there as well. Ball was played through to the striker for a one on one, the keeper made the correct decision coming out and the kid at full speed chipped the keeper. It wasn't a blast but the skill it took to finish a shot like this impressed me.
