  1. It was not KHSAA that removed the coach.
  2. The season they were coached to the state final?
  3. what a great played match, great atmosphere, great play, great sportsmanship, and wow. what a goal by Hegerty. Can't wait to see these two match up again
  4. After seeing him completely take Wend out of the Connor game and then seeing how well he was able to manage Morgan in the Scott game I would put him in the top 3. he was personally the best defender I have seen play this year. He didn't have a whole lot of help in the back either. he was number 4 i believe and his last name was Enzwieler.
  5. I'm not saying the question isn't legit. I'm saying it doesn't need to be discussed. It was a personal decision that like I said was the right one under the circumstances. The actual truth of it all will probably never be accurately posted on here, so it is best to come up with whatever conclusion you want, but you will not get the full story off this blog.
  6. Wirth is a great player. He is what I would say most of their attack comes from in the final third, very quick and agile when runnin at players with the ball.
  7. It was already being discussed in another thread, so I just thought it would be easier to make a separate thread about it.
  8. I agree with this statement, but unfortunatly when they do the official voting it isn't separated like that.
  9. I thought maybe this would work a little better rather than having people list the best players from each school. Not to put ANY players down in anyway and I think it is perfectly okay to mention players that don't get much credit, but I would like this thread to be the best of the best. The top 3 players in all of NKY in each category offensive and defensive. Not top the best from each team, not players you think don't get credit, not the top 10, when listing a player understand this thread is about the very elite amongst all of NKY. Please just list your top 3 and any positive comments, as for my top 3 I don't think I need to list any reasons because I think they have all been voiced. ( THIS IS JUST ONE PERSONS OPINION ) in no way do I want to put any players down. OPOY 1. Morgan ( Scott ) 2. Snow ( Cooper ) 3. Day ( CCH ) Defensive 1. Wessels ( CCH ) 2. Enzweiler ( HC ) 3. Seay ( Scott ) After giving this some thought here is what I came down to. Others to mention include Wend, Litzler, Romes, Roe, Gesenhues and many more. This is just IMHO..... I could easily make arguments for other players in those spots but after giving it thought this is my conclusion on top 3 in each category Not an easy thing to do and I'm not complaining about that either.
  10. Why don't you re read my post. Like I said, he made the best decision for the program, and again it's between the coach and the program and not something that needs to be discussed.
  11. As for the coaching situation i have not seen one accurate comment, and anyways that is between the coach and the school. And no, this decision was in no way forced on the coach. The coach made the decision that he felt that was best for the program given the circumstances at hand. ( as he always has )
  12. you were not taking a shot at the program, you were taking a shot at a player, and there were plenty of non Scott affiliated people that saw that. You can step off your high horse now and see things a little clearer
  13. I do know after Morgan's yellow card, he sat on the bench and waited about 3-4 minutes before returning.
  14. Number 11 scored for Holy cross off a well placed free kick in the first half probably from about 20yrds out, I don't think the keeper was ready for it and was focusing on setting the wall. Morgan scored with about 6 minutes left in the second half to eaqalize. Then a free kick was awarded to Scott from near the corner area where Morgan sent in a ball to Wolf who headed it in the top corner for the late win. This happened with 52 seconds left in the game.
  15. just in an outsiders opinion.... in no particular order offensive 1. Day 2. Snow 3. Morgan 4. Wend Defensive 5. Darple 6. Gesenhuges 7. Roe 8. Wessels GK 9. Seay 10. Romes
  16. Not that stats mean much on here but Morgan has 18 goals and 6 assists for Scott. Total Scott has scored 27 goals this season so Morgan has played a role in 24 of them. That just blows me away.
  17. To quote groinpull in what was said in the now closed thread about Litzler being OPOY Not to take anything away from Litlzler because he is a great player, however when looking at stats, and the scores i don't think it's fair to consider his goals were scored against the best competition. Unlike say Day who has scored against Madison Central in the 2-1 win. These look like pretty easy wins for cov cath. Scott - 3 goals 8-1 win St. Henry 1 goal 5-0 win SK- 1 goal 5-1 win Walnut hills 3 goals 7-1 win East Central 2 goals 5-0 win Holmes 1 goal 5-1 win Seven hills 1 goal 5-0 win
  18. who cares what post it was? you still called out two players in a negative way
  19. " Total flopper. Taking the mantle from Treadway it seems. Lol. ".....
  20. These both seem like shots at Mr. Morgan directly. props to him for standing up for himself in what seemed like to me a very appropriate response
  21. if romours are correct Morgan will be making an appearance in goal tonight for the Eagles.
  22. Scott signed a 3 year contract for this tournament and this will be the 2nd year. Scott brought there whole JV and varsity roster to these matches and unfortunately for Scott to have a JV and Varsity team about 4 or 5 players that play significant varsity time have to play JV as well. CCH has about as many players on their varsity squad as Scott has in their whole program.
