Covington Catholic 8 Scott 1

Scott scores on a gift/flop free kick but other than that no real threats. Michael Wessels and Griffin Lamb both with hat tricks for CCH. Lot of reserves in the game second half.

Gift/Flop...what a joke the only gift I saw given was your player only getting a yellow for taking Morgan out as he was headed to goal at the end of the game. It really bothers you that much that Morgan scored on your team. Especially after an 8 to 1 win. You are a piece of work. As for the rest of the CCH faithful I wish you all the best of luck with the rest of your season.

Total flopper. Taking the mantle from Treadway it seems. Lol

Unfortunate the CCH defense had their shutout streak ended on a call like that.

And wearing the GK jersey before the game. What a sad stunt. Bush league stuff.

Only regret is the very poor finishing by CCH. Should have been a run rule but oh well.

The CCH defense deserves to have their shutout streak ended as they need to learn how to play without fouling the best shooter on a team. You have some real resentment issues towards a 17 year old kid...I wonder who you will focus all this hate towards next year? If you are looking for him you can find him at Marshall. Have a nice night.

You should be ashamed of your self. It's fans / parents like yourself that take away from the outstanding play I saw on the field from a well coached CCH team. And yes I am a Scott parent, but I have no problem rewarding outstanding play when I see it even if it's not Scott.

Groin, may I suggest if you have nothing positive to say then say nothing.

Nice post!

Morgan is a good player for sure, very good, but maybe soccerforlife needs to dial back a bit on the bragging. When a kid is built up so much, and made out to be the superstar of the team there will always be few people who will be happy with a result like tonight. Most people know why the result was so skewed in CCH's favor... injured Scott players, the goalie situation. I'm sure Scott will rebound again for their next game.

Taking the mantle from a former National league/ current University of Kentucky player doesn't sound like a bad gig. Morgan is one of the top players in the state. There is a reason he is going to Marshall next fall. You act as if Ronaldo has never taken a flop before. It gave his team a scoring opportunity and another goal for him on the season. The amount of CCH bias on this site is unbelievable.

I call every game like I see it. If it hurts your feelings too bad but there was and always has been a lot of flopping and hacking with Scott, at least the last couple of years. Most observers would agree with that. Nothing different tonight.

As said I am his mom and it is my right as a parent to brag when I want too...that being said when anyone comes out attacking my kid they are going to hear it from me for sure.

I agree. It's fine to brag about a child, and you're right to be proud of him, but a public forum like this might not be the best place to do it. It's only high school soccer... In a few years no one will remember anyone from this graduating year.

Nobody "attacked your kid" LOL.

I said Scott scored on a gift call/flop. You had to throw out his name like you do in every thread. It was a bad call. I make statements like that in many games. Choosing to be offended is your decision. Have a nice night.

I can call them like I see them as well!

This blog might be a nicer place if people spent a little more time talking or "bragging" about the good things and a little less time talking down about other people's kids or teams.

.

Not well-versed in soccer code. What does the above mean in regards to GK jersey ?

Just when Scott had me fooled into thinking they were past all of the antics, we had a game like tonight. Now I remember why I disliked the prima donna culture that they have displayed in the recent past.
