Talked with OC last night and he is confident they get the W. ADI yesterday 4 of 5 are picking the Cats as well. Ashland must not have silly penalties and take care of the ball. The long bus ride may or may not play a part but think they are leaving at 2. Side note Ashlands kicker, kick offs, field goals, and PATs has a soccer game tomorrow at 2 so he will try and get to game but will be late for sure so that's not going to help. Kid in practice regularly putting ball in the end zone on kickoffs and nailing 40-45 yard field goals.

Back in the old days mid 80s we played 2 Babe Ruth All-Star games during the heat of the day. First Game at 2 and I pitched that game with temps around 100. We watched the next game and played after that around 6 615 with temps still mid upper 90s and played CF. Wet towels and lots of water but we all survived luckily. Couple of kids did become nauseous and one our catcher got sick. No one back then even questioned the heat. Played many little league and Babe Ruth games in oppressive heat.

Girls soccer game tonight at 6pm it was hot, heat index was 104. They play 40 minute halfs. Tonight they played 20 minutes then 10 minute break both halfs.

Ashland gotta protect Ratliff to have a chance to win and must open some running lanes for Colburn and Hester. Going to be interesting they were dominated on the scrimmage game but also were last season.

Close maybe a quarter, Greenup pulls away wins big. 42-18

Picked Lawerence think Raceland may have some early season growing pains. Won't surprise me if Raceland finds a way to win though. Should be a very close game.

Yes as in years past line play will make or break out Cats and the season as a whole. Doesn't sound to good but still time to fix things.
