  10. Field is ready!! GAMETiME!! Good Luck to the Rams the rest of the season just not tonight.
  11. All Ashland home games are always 730pm and have been as long as I can remember. A couple of times they have moved the kick to 8 due to heat or storms.
  12. Wonder who 10 is have to find out
  13. Thx thought it was a freshman game.
  14. Final. Good win for the young CATS.
  15. We all know only 11 can play at any given time but yes some school names put fear in their opponents before they ever step on the field and yes seeing 100+ kids walk onto the field if you team has small numbers is also intimidating.
  16. What's something that while watching mainly High School Football but can add College, Pros to that gets under your skin. Mine has to be any team but Ashland in particular that is up big or down big, the game is out of reach and will leave starters and key players on the field taking a chance on injury. It also applies to meaningless games. Example, 2 years ago Ashland had a very good team, 8-0 going into the Johnson Central game lost 8-7. District over we are locked in and have one game left against Tate's Creek. I would have sat the starters in that game and taken my loss. Coach Love plays to win the game I guess not wanting a 2 game losing streak going into the playoffs and gets both D1 players hurt in that game and we all know how that ended. Let's hear some of yours.
  17. Special teams could be a huge factor in this game for sure. Colburn and Hester both can take it to the house on kickoffs for Ashland. They were neutralized somewhat last week by an outstanding kicker from Harlan County. Punt returner for Ashland Caines had a couple of huge returns to set up Ashland scores also. Should be a good game. Ashland gets some help from the OL and DL and they may pull away. Interesting Raceland leading the poll right now, not a lot of faith in the CATS!
  18. Theirs plenty of big boys, they for whatever reason don't want to play football. I see them everyday.
  19. Sooner you get to a running clock the sooner you can rest starters play backups and hopefully have less injuries associated with more plays and more time on the clock so I would.
  20. Really don't care if they weigh 150 they need to block someone and open up some holes
  21. Love said on pre game Sat. That Ashland 2 years ago averaged 280 on the OL last season 200 this season 230.
  22. Bigger then last season but no their not 270-300 pounders on the line.
  23. Putnam Stadium Friday Ashland- Raceland. Saturday Russell and Greenup County.
