What's something that while watching mainly High School Football but can add College, Pros to that gets under your skin. Mine has to be any team but Ashland in particular that is up big or down big, the game is out of reach and will leave starters and key players on the field taking a chance on injury. It also applies to meaningless games. Example, 2 years ago Ashland had a very good team, 8-0 going into the Johnson Central game lost 8-7. District over we are locked in and have one game left against Tate's Creek. I would have sat the starters in that game and taken my loss. Coach Love plays to win the game I guess not wanting a 2 game losing streak going into the playoffs and gets both D1 players hurt in that game and we all know how that ended. Let's hear some of yours.

I don't like sitting kids just so they don't get hurt. The starters only get 10-13 games all season and I hate for them to lose a whole game to avoid injury. I understand what you are saying but the game is still for the kids and they've put the work in and should receive the benefit.

I don't have a problem limiting the time to a quarter or two, or sitting guys that are recovering or just off injury. Injuries are a risk of the game.

My peeve - Fans in the stands the yell instructions to kids on the field. Like they're going to hear you and do what you say?? First, they are pretty far away and wouldn't likely hear you if out in an empty field that far away. Secondly, they are wearing helmets. Thirdly, it's loud on the field! Players and coaches yelling, etc. Fourth, They're concentrating on what they're doing. Most coaches have trouble getting a players attention and they are 30 feet away! And lastly, the players (and coaches) don't want your input.

Be loud, cheer, boo, applaud or whatever. But don't coach from the stands. Trust me, they don't hear you.

Most of mine are fan based complaints:

Fans that yell at high school games, "pass interference" every time a receiver is touched.

Fans that yell at high school games, "he got back in time" when a defensive player enters the neutral zone and jumps back prior to the snap.

Any fan that yells, "Kill him".

And, probably my biggest pet peeve: trying to explain the Free Blocking Zone to people.

Obnoxious announcers.....

FFFFFIIIIIIRRRRSSSSTTTTTT DOOOOOOWWWWNNNNN ___insert team___

AT EVERY 1st down. Even after a kick return. Like it's something to celebrate.

Bad renditions of The National Anthem.

Awesome when the students/band can play it.

But someone needs to listen to them play it before hand. An objective 3rd party.

There are some that are excellent. Others I thought: "someone should be fired for letting them get out there and play like that."

Particularly when you can't even tell what song they are playing.

**I still change the channel whenever the fray comes on over that crap they played before the basketball finals back in 2012(?).
