I would have to think you may be correct. The 9ths top teams are looking stronger and stronger for what HC is doing.

I must say HC defense just make you earn everything. The PG is amazing how well she takes care of the ball too. I will have my crow well done, congrat and keep going.

HC pace of play is perfect. Etown can't get into a flow.

As read back through the thread this caught my eye. Not sure I ever see they were the top team. So you got me looking at the last 10 years or so because I'm retired and have nothing to do let's take a look. Allen sr year according to Khsaa was 09/10. They were 19-9. 10-4 in region. I don't think they were the favorite but what do I know I didn't see them play. Here's a look at the past performances. 2015 region lost to HC by 17. Reg season lost to HC by 1 double OT 2014 region lost to ND by 8. Reg season lost to ND by 7 2013 region lost to ND by 19 Reg season lost to ND by 15 2012 region lost to ND by 5 Reg season lost to ND by 28 2011 region lost to St Henry by 3 reg season lost to St. Henry by 11 2010 missed region lost to ncc in districts. Lost in regular season too. Allen Sr. year. 2009 region lost to Boone by 8 reg season lost to Boone by 11 2008 region lost to Conner by 11. Reg season beat Conner twice. 2007 region lost to ND by 20 Reg season lost to ND by 27 2006 region lost to HC by 10 Reg season lost to HC by 9 2005 region lost to Boone co by 26 Reg season lost to Boone Co by 23 2004 region lost to Boone co by 4 double OT Reg season lost to Boone by 28 2003 region lost to Boone co by 13 Reg season lost to Boone by 33 iMO I really can't see where they had a huge disappointment, no more than all the other teams that play each year. It's seems the team that beats them in the post season is a team that beat them in the regular season, several times by less. I did also see they have not been upset. Maybe once the year Conner beat them but that year Conner won the region. Maybe you should be saying when will Highlands pull the upset and win the region. This year they had a chance but so did several other teams. Let be honest next year they will most likely need to upset Holmes to win it.

Mason should be fine in this one. Should win by 10.

Are you talking about HC or Highlands players?

HC is a good team Etown is great. I can't see HC being able to score enough to stay in the game. I will say 56-35ish.

I could care less about the Highlands Holmes debate. Neither team was going to beat HC, if HC played well, and they played well in the regional tourney. IMO Highlands had a better chance than Holmes because typically Highlands shoots the ball well from the outside and that gives you a punchers chance. I have looked at both HHS schedules. I can't say Highlands or Holmes schedule was above average about 2/3 of their schedules are the same. Holy Cross had a nice challaging schedule. Good luck to HC. They had zero regional losses not sure why there is a debate about who's second. I'm sure the Highlalnds folks will say if they were on the other side they could have been runner up as well. HC played great let's all wish them well.

They had a strong finish to a decent year. Beat a very good NCC team and made Cov Cath earn the title.

The winner of Franklin Co Allen Co shouldn't have any problems with the rest of that bracket. The finals will be a different story.
