Any players outside of Highlands and Union/Ryle to watch and could be put on this top players list?

Truly talented kid. I have heard there was a worry about him hurting kids his own age, plus wouldn't be challenged.

I am pretty sure Beechwood won but I am not sure of the score.

Summit's offense looked balanced with 3 rushing TD's and 2 passing TD's and will be hard to stop. Woodland didn't do much with a kickoff return for TD and one scoring possession.

Beechwood was small but fast off of the ball.

It depends on the coaches, parents, players and programs. Any situation can be bad or good pending who is in charge of them. I will use Scott HS/Woodland/Taylor Mill Eagles as an example. I don't think it is coincidence that the past couple of years Scott HS has turned around their football program that was dismal. They built a true feeder system with Taylor Mill Eagles who do not have a Senior division because they promote playing at Woodland. The terms are the save from Starter to HS and the HS coaches are involved all the way to the bottom. My kids do not go there but my older some played line in NKYFL and is not a lineback in HS. My younger son was RB in NKYFL because the coaches wanted the ball in his hands and is now a WR. But they also understand the game good from other positions which helps them now.

Mother's father was 5'9" and mother 5'7" but my grandmother's family does have some height in it up to 6'6". All 3 other branches of the family tree were not tall.

I am 6'1", my dad is 5'10" and mother 5'1" so not really close for me. My brother is also 6'

I am surprised South Kenton still has much support. I thought the Senior division in NKYFL was all but done.

I will agree a tough position due to the school's primary focus is not sports, and nothing wrong with that.

Douthit knows his stuff when it comes to coaching individuals and fundamentals. Who would they get to go to that small of school that would be even as good?

The incoming 8th graders have some athletes that Bill McLeid has done a good job of finding and getting them to play football his upcoming season. Most did not play last year. I am not going to come out and say they run the table or anything but should look like a different team than last year.

I agree, are they moving around based on how good they think their team will be? The size of the school didn't change. Realignment I understand but not yearly.

I was saying I did not know that was even a thought. I would think it would be something the school would have to announce soon, and that options of playing elsewhere would have to be provided. I don't think Kenton Co schools can offer sports and other activities to all of their school except for one.

I knew about the Academy but not about at this time it is unclear as to whether or not Summit View Academy will have extra circular activities or not for 2015-2016. As far as I know they are and was contacted twice yesterday about the upcoming football season.

I am not really sure what they will have to be honest. The new coach got a lot of the athletes to come out. With only 5 teams in the Large School division, do they just play a random schedule to fill in more games?

Interest because I was not aware. My son goes to Summit View, did not play last year but has decided to play this year which is why I was curious. I did get emails from coach and team mom yesterday about the upcoming season.

How about the teams that are in the NKY Middle School League?
