  1. Evidently I'm missing something when it comes to Lincoln and West Jessamine. Did some kids transfer in?
  2. On paper, yes, they have a lot of talent. But I think player chemistry will hinder the maroons, especially later in the season. Just my thinking, could be totally wrong.
  3. Yeah I'll do that, cause I'm sure coaches are so unbiased when it comes to this kind of stuff. You can ask em how they liked sitting up in the bleachers watching Casey play in the 12th region championship game last season.
  4. Just as I suspected, comedy. Casey is top 5, easy. Not me being bias, just being real. But it's not how ya start, it's how you finish.
  5. To my knowledge it's the first time Casey has ever beaten Bell. It was a trouncing. Running clock about midway through the 3rd.
  6. 47th is stacked! Region champ will come out of that district.
  7. Anyone wanna go out on a limb and throw some pre-season 12th rankings out there?
  8. Max Reyes is looking good, also a few more up and coming players that will contribute as well including 6'4 Sophomore Chance McQueary. He will help Hayes inside, and has a nice shooting touch. 6'7 junior Dustin Richards will also be a factor in the paint, along with a couple more that are playing football right now. All that said, I don't think you'll find a better, more experienced backcourt in the region this year. I think we'll be just fine!
  9. Casey County has hired Jason Price. Here's a link of the story in today's paper Casey County News : Price named CCHS boys basketball coach
  10. If that had been all you had said then nobody would have said a thing to you, except that's not all you said. You started coming up with things like easy draws, AAU, records, and even went as far as labeling last year's Boyle County team as 'bad'. It's all good though, everyone on here has their own opinions, no need to keep apologizing for yours.
  11. You made some nice points chip. Noah Wesley transferred to the Galilean Christian Academy here in Casey probably around 10 games in, and they had a nice season in their respected conference. As far as reasoning, I dont have that information.
  12. Maze was good for Casey, and Casey was good for Maze. He inherited some of our better players to come through here in a long time, and they played hard for him when it mattered most.
  13. I didn't realize there were so many people on here from Casey County. We should all get together sometime, go and catch a flick! Got a new 2 screen movie theatre downtown, it's real nice! Great popcorn!
  14. Hope you're laughing at your credibility, cause I am, and have been since you mentioned something about him taking the job at Bath County 2 months ago...
  15. Having watched the boys play a few times this summer, im liking what I'm seeing. Smith will be in the running for the POY here in the 12th, and Miller should have a nice senior season as well. Hayes will have the paint to himself, and I look for him to have a double-double nightly. Reyes has a year under his belt, and will continue to provide a spark on offense. As for the rest of the team, and who will step up, that has yet to be determined. Lot of scrappy sophomores working hard right now to fill the starting 5, so we'll see. And as for the Coaching Staff, put it to bed guys. I talk to coach Stallworth once if not twice a week, he's staying put and is happy with this group of guys he has.
  16. Stallworth will finish what he started here at Casey. He'll see Smith, Miller, and Hayes through. Casey has the talent to make another deep run, and Maze knows that. I don't see a move manifesting THIS season.
  17. Proud of the effort tonight, and proud of this team. The boys played their hearts out, and fought to end. Going into this season I knew we had a chance to be special, and I'm glad we figured that out here in the post season. Better late than never I guess. DJ White, what else can I say, you have left a lasting impact on this community not just as a great athlete, but as a great person as well! Your hustle and determination was contagious, and I wish you and EKU football the best! Wyatt Slone, you've been a great senior leader for this team, and I've enjoyed watching you improve every game! You stepped up big for us during this post season! Been a great season, a history making season, and I couldn't be more proud of all the guys and Coach Stallworth! On the other side, the Mercer County Titans. What a team! Have a ton of weapons in their Arsenal, and I appreciate the manner in which they play the game! Good luck to them, I know they will represent the 12th well.
