We are playing good sound football right now and I'm not sure New Cath can stop us. They definitely have the capability and have played on the carpet as of lately but I don't see it happening. Defense wins championships and that's what we have. A staggering defense. 27-14 Mayfield

Great game tonight by both teams. Desales has a great football team and I'm glad we got to play them tonight. We were outsized by jus about every position. I love the fight and heart our kids have. They jus do not give up and they find a way to win and good football teams do that. Very very proud of our boys even though it was early they got down by 13 points and it never really seem to bother them. I think there is no question now who has the best defense in 2A. I can't say enough about our defense. With that said Desales defense was only giving up an average of 87.5 yds per game against the rush coming into tonights game and Bright alone put up 145 yds on them. Also the most points scored against their defense was 18 and we put up 24. Like many have mentioned our coaching staff is top notch and once again the adjustments they made in tonights game prove that. Go Big Red!!!

That is exactly what I saw. From what I have gathered Sat is gonna be the rain maker. Saw where rain is suppose to move in after midnight tomorrow night.

Ha Ha VOR now you know we are not gonna let you slide saying Beechwood has more. Both schools have 11 State Titles.

FYI to the metro boys.... When you enter the heart of W. Kentucky especially the new I-69 corridor, there are several 55mph contruction zones. I would use caution when driving through. Many of the zones are heavely guarded by our boys in blue, not counting it's a holiday weekend. It could slow your drive time but it depends on the time of day. Be safe and can't wait to get this rivalry started on the field.

Verizon LTE will be sufficient at the field. You should not have any trouble at all having full strength.

Just a question that came to mind from reading this thread. If this year was west traveling east, where would have the game been played this week? Do the colts have an agreement with a school to use their field?

Visitors side is not real big. But once they fill up you can set on the home side opposite of the scoreboard. Our stadium is not at the school so we do not have a track around it so you are really close to the field. Chairs probably wouldn't be a good idea.

With the 11 State Titles we also have 9 Runner Ups. Also we are currently 5th In the nation in all time wins. Louisville Male and Highlands are in the top 3. Pretty cool 3 schools in KY are in the top 5.

Maybe you need to go back and check out our resume. We have won 5 State Titles and several Runner Ups in 2A. We are no stranger to Class 2A my friend. So please, try again.

Not sure about Desales team speed. But if I were guessing y'all will not be any faster than OC. Big and strong can only get you so far. Now add speed to that then that's a force to be reckon with. OC was fast on both sides of the ball and we handled them pretty darn good last night. OC had the fastest player on the field and the fastest I've seen all season. He played WR/CB and returned kick offs and punts and he was a non factor last night. Mayfield has speed and Desales is bigger from what I have gathered. Not saying Desales is slow and not saying Mayfield is little. So if I had a choice I had rather be a faster team than a bigger team and I think that's what will be the difference.
