This was a first for me seeing 4 yellow cards in a hs GIRLS soccer game. Which is why I pointed it out. 2 YC on each team. Boone scored all 3 goals in the 2nd half off corner kicks. Played very inspired in the second half and really dominated Campbell Co. I hope the CC girl that went down with the knee injury is ok.

Unless this was prior to week 1 Boone should be closer to 20 imo.

Is it really that big a deal lawildcat?? Isn't this website used for soccer information and news?? I myself am curious why a coach would possibly suspend a player for missing time in preseason yet didn't suspend the girls from last year.

I can't believe that a coach would suspend a player for missing preseason workouts due to going to nationals with a club team. Gotta be something else other than this. Maybe housedivided can confirm the reason??

Huh that's weird. No suspension for the KHA girls last year that went to nationals in Tulsa. Why no suspension game 1??

First half was good on both sides 0-0. Second half was a different story. HC scored on a defensive breakdown bout 3 min in. Boone scored off a corner to tie it a few min later. Played well for about the next 10 min and then the wheels fell off. I think it was 2-1 HC when boones best defender (jutzi) got hurt and it was game over. Defense better improve or its gonna be a long year for the lady rebels!!

I don't understand why they put KY and Ohio together in these rankings. Should just do the states separate. Agree about NDA, SK and highlands being too low.

Both are on the 2016 HS All-American watch list!! Quite an honor for these young ladies. I believe there's a little over 150 girls on this list and in Oct they choose 40 of them for the team. I believe there was 6-7 girls on the list from KY. Congrats ladies and good luck in 2016.

Groinpull SK is a contender for the 8th region. They won it last year and should be there again this year. I do agree Boone and NCC will both be in the thick of the 9th region. Boone has 9 returning from last year and get a starter back that missed the entire 15 season. I do still think NDA is by far the favorite. Good luck this season hope everyone stays healthy!!

KHA 17 lost 2-0 today in semis

KHA Red U17 girls advance to semi- finals with a 3-0 win today.

KHA Red U17 girls tied Lou Fousz yesterday 2-2 and won today 3-1. They are currently 1 goal ahead (Lou Fousz)in the bracket. Play tomorrow at 2pm to complete bracket play. Good luck girls!!

And I have never heard of teams holding winter training for HS. Guess we both learned something today!

I know KHA doesn't allow their players to participate in HS workouts during Club season. Are other clubs different? Doubtful
