Everything the commentators said was true. Yes hoops, they did represent NKY, that's my point.

Very disappointed with the way Scott represented NKY in the second half. Filthy play. No composure once they started losing. 3 red cards. Hacking. Flopping. Treadway didn't even have the decency to put his uniform back on after taking his jersey off in temper after being issued his, well deserved, red card. College coaches will be looking for a bit more self control when facing adversity.

Redandblackhawk, very fair of you to post that pic and tell the story from the vantage point you and your wife had. I have no dog in the fight either, but hate hearing when a player is hurt and taken off by ambulance. Once again it seems like the officials were horrendous. Hopefully after the amount of bad feeling they generated this whole season, some proper training might be put in place before next season starts. Realistically though, I can't see that happening.

I know the club team is U17 this season and has a bunch of young high school seniors, so wasn't sure if Morgan was one of them. Let's not open the whole "assist" debate again...

I heard about that remark, and also the remarks about how Scott has no real technical skill or class on the field. It's mainly through dirty, dangerous play that they won. Nevertheless, they did win, and whatever tactics they used, worked... Scott should enjoy their success this year because when Treadway and Schneider are gone that team will be nothing special. I agree that Morgan has had a good season too, but mainly due to the help of the other two boys. Are they all seniors? Or is Morgan a junior? I read somewhere that Morgan is on the same club team as a 5 or 6 NKY players that are seniors this year.

Wow, I didn't pay attention to the Trinity v Highlands and KCD games... I didn't think Trinity was anything really special when I saw them play Cov Cath and St. Henry. They were definitely good, and they were great games. But Trinity wasn't the "super team" that I had seen over the years.

The only strong team in there was Bishop Brossart. Campbell Co and GRC had a weak season. MO CO and Boyle Co only looked good because of their huge goal tally in stats, but look at who they played, and how many mercy or high scoring games they played. Not saying Scott is not legit, in fact they're a good team, and I wish them well, just saying they got lucky with their draws. My point is, Trinity shouldn't be too much of a threat if Scott is as good as their stats show... But the stats are made up from playing some pretty weak teams.

It will be Scott's first serious post season game. They got very lucky with their post season match ups so far.

Trinity beat St. Henry 1-0 and Cov Cath 1-0 in regular season. Both lucky goals for Trinity. If Scott is the powerhouse they are believed to be, Treadway and Schneider should get the job done on Saturday.

Yellow Card, I was told that the host school gets very little from the ticket sales. Maybe a small "thank you" stipend.

St. Henry outplayed Dunbar at times, and should have won. St. Henry scored early in the first half with a very nice assist from Lannon to Dehner. The Crusaders controlled the game well until the last minute of the first half when St. Henry relaxed a little and Dunbar scored. It was a hard fought second half, both teams had chances, and defenders were working hard. Dunbar managed to break through well into the second half and put one in the net. Some of the crusaders were fighting through hamstring and muscle problems, and at times it showed. Well done to the Crusaders on a great season. Always sad to see the seniors leave the field at the end of their final high school game. Congrats to Dunbar, and good luck in the next round.

Well said whatsaylenyou. I just think hellbird is feeling a little needy today and is looking for a bit of attention. It happens to us all at times.

I agree with you oldtime, I believe hanging on the cross bar during a game is cardable, and I've seen him do that on other occasions, it's seems to be a subconscious adrenaline thing with him, rather than something deliberate. Anyway, good luck to The Cru as they go forward.
