Final.

St. Henry outplayed Dunbar at times, and should have won. St. Henry scored early in the first half with a very nice assist from Lannon to Dehner. The Crusaders controlled the game well until the last minute of the first half when St. Henry relaxed a little and Dunbar scored. It was a hard fought second half, both teams had chances, and defenders were working hard. Dunbar managed to break through well into the second half and put one in the net. Some of the crusaders were fighting through hamstring and muscle problems, and at times it showed. Well done to the Crusaders on a great season. Always sad to see the seniors leave the field at the end of their final high school game.

Congrats to Dunbar, and good luck in the next round.

A rough loss for the CRU tonight, they played well, fought hard and had their chances.... SH gave PLD all they wanted... glad we decided to take out a short-term loan for the admission and attend the match.

 

I was proud to wear red and be a St Henry supporter, the boys acquitted themselves, and NKY, very well tonight.

It was definitely a hard fought match by both teams. Dunbar will have to play better than they did tonight to advance beyond the quarterfinals.

This has been a terrific season for the Cru. It's been fun to be a Crusader fan.

The energy from the student sections has been just incredible! I have heard that there has been a nice Crusader fan base at girls soccer games and volleyball games as well. I really hope it carries over into basketball season, too.

 

I hope the Crusader student body has realized that gathering together and cheering loud for your school teams can be a lot of fun and a great way to "belong".

Disappointed I missed this one, sounds like it was worth the...now what was the price of admission again?
