Campbellsville’s District does not include Louisville Holy Cross this year (That’s 2019/2020) C-Ville District is the same (Bethlehem, Ft Knox, Caverna) and, if it does play out like last year, Crittenden will be making the 3 hour drive this year... can’t wait to see how it all shakes out...

Louisville Moore beat Campbellsville in the Finals of the Washington County 7 on 7 passing tourney 21-7. Moore has some dandy athletes and a very Nice QB... Cville is fast and skilled... should be a good year for both teams...

Of the 27 currently on the roster, 19 will be juniors and seniors... The schedule, once again, is difficult... If healthy by Class A part of the schedule, this team will be a tough out... can’t wait for the season..

Adair Co. has ONE pitcher, and he is a crafty lefty that knows how to pitch. He's a Dandy. Watch em in the first round vs a district winner. Could be very interesting.

Final From Campbellsville...

Hash, the QB, will be a sophomore this year, and a year older.. 4 our 5 o-lineman return and Plenty at the skill spot.. However, the strength of schedule is the same (#4 in Class A) and staying healthy with 25 players is key... But, the Great Thing about this group is, they are not satisfied...

Campbellsville returns 9 starters on offense and 9 starters on defense from their Region Championship team from a year ago... With some new additions from out of the hallways, I would expect the Eagles to be very strong again next year. Cant wait for it to get started..

Bottom of the 5th, a little controversy as there was a questioned number of strikes... kid swings at a strike.. PRP thought it was strike three. Umpire had strike two.. Coaches, Umpires, Offical book keeper converse and the result was Strike Two... kid goes on to get a hit, two errors by PRP, and the score is 1-1...

PRP threw #21, already committed to Louisville. He’s a dandy lefty. PRP pushed a run across in the 5th with back to back doubles to go up 1-0. In the bottom of the 5th, Cville tied it up 1-1 with a hit and some fielding errors by PRP.. Campbellsville scored the winner on a bad throw to third by PRP that went into the outfield with the Cville runner coming on home..

Bottom line, it should’ve been a No Call.. I was there... The “White Hat” was shook all night, and this was just one instance. It’s a shame the kid has to sit out the Championship game.. Our kid has to sit out the first game next year..

Both players were not ejected.. the Campbellsville player that was ejected was a player that left the sideline and came out onto the field... the Campbellsville player involved in the altercation was not ejected.

Beechwood will run the clock next week in the final.. Campbellsville had a program changing year and will rebound nicely... Great Year Eagles... Good Luck to Beechwood... They Are A Machine... See Ya Next Year...

Down on Main Street, 1/2 mile from the stadium, there is a place called “Brothers”... OUTSTANDING place to eat.. and of course there’s Druther’s on the corner.. Or out by the shopping center is Garcia’s Mexican restaurant or Colton’s Steakhouse.. several places to choose from...

Campbellsville will practice in the morning at 9:00 and it’s open to the public... The Faculty at CHS is gonna come in on Thanksgiving morning and cook breakfast for the players and coaches after practice... Turkey and Football in the same Week... It’s Been a Great Year.. Let’s Go..

Agreed... Safe travels to those coming to Campbellsville from Ft Mitchell.. It will be a Great environment to watch Friday Night Football..

Just for the record, The teams on Campbellsville’s non-District Schedule combined record was 51-30... I’m not arguing who had the toughest schedule cause Beechwood plays a crazy schedule.. but, Cville plays a pretty competitive schedule themselves.. so, like I’ve said, we are excited to host Beechwood and look at it as an opportunity to compete against the very best in Class A... see you All on Friday...

No doubt Beechwood plays a very difficult schedule and obviously the TEAM to beat in Class A.. and I have no doubt they will be ready.. but, they still have to come to C-Ville and play the game... And I, for one, am looking forward to it... Dave Fryrear Field on the campus at Campbellsville High School will be busting at the seams packed... What a Great Opportunity for Campbellsville... To compete against the best...

Campbellsville’s strength of schedule has helped them develop into a physical football team.. With only 25 players, they are making a great run at the end of the season.. Beechwood comes to Campbellsville next Friday, and both coaching staffs will have their teams ready.. should be a GREAT NIGHT on the campus at Campbellsville High School...

Campbellsville overwhelmed Crittenden from start to finish.. Crittenden County is s Class program and Coach Starnes is a Class Act... Semi-State, vs Beechwood, AT CAMPBELLSVILLE.. can’t wait to see what happens...

Should be a fun game to watch. Campbellsville overwhelmed Russellville throughout the game and are playing pretty good themselves. Not sure if either team CAN ROLL over the other. Will you be at the game Jim?
