Sw shot ball pretty good. I think Peyton Cundiff was 4-5 from 3 off the bench

East jess played at GJ Smith Classic at south laurel yesterday. They are way down. Sw played clay co Clay was up 41-40 at half. Not a lot of def played in first half by either team. Both shot it fairly well. Sw jumped on clay to start 3rd and was up I think 16-2 when clay pulled smith and farmer and they didn't return to the game. Sw went on to win 2nd half 41-22 or so. Steven Fitzgerald looked really good.

You would not have seen any of them on 14u Aau team. 2019 class are freshman and would be 15u.

I am hearing Treyvon Sylvester is out till after christmas maybe. Still trying to recover from the hand he broke months ago.

Clay could very well be better than last year. IMO they will not. Same big that was there last year ain't it? I just think they will miss Ryan House more than they think. South has a lot to prove before being mentioned with Clay. First is beating Clay and 2nd getting out of district. South is the better team though

I have not said one word about South Laurel on this topic.

No real point guard. Not saying Smith and Farmer can't run the point. They can but not ideal. I just think they will miss House more than most think. Still be very good.

SW also lost Hunter Cromer (JR.) guard. A good shooter(52% from 3) and good defender. Sw has some good shooters to replace him but they will miss the defense some. It hurts their depth as well.

Broughton is a JR. North plays Graves co nov 28th at GJ Smith showcase at South Laurel.

SW plays Clay co in the Gj smith showcase at south laurel on the 28th. should be a good one to watch.

Lipps is a senior transfer from west Virginia. Played for the Hidden Valley Titans last year.

I talked to reese dad this morning. He said same thing some just didnt play cause of football. It can be a huge positive. Depending on how you look at it. Would rather lose those kids now and develop the ones there than to look up junior year and the kids quit basketball to work on football then leaving you hurting

You say he should be required to play against his age and I agree but what is his age? He is 14 when aau begins but will turn 15 before its over. The problem to me is aau is using age based but still using school cut off dates(which are for grade based play) for age cut off on age based play. If any that makes sense. lol
