I think it's funny as well but draw the line when you run in front of the opposing student section and waive it. Too much young testosterone in one place so taunting the other student section has too much potential for disaster.

The first foul on Malik was definitely a flop but I don't blame that on the Boyle player. Lonnie was right there and thought there was going to be contact and blew the whistle prematurely. I have it on video and am trying to upload it but am having problems. I'm not the best when it comes to IT.

Wow. You shoot 49% and lose the game. BC has 33 FT attempts and Mercer has 20..........that's the game.

The part that really bothers me is that some of the top officials really seem to be struggling. I guess they can have a down year too. :idunno:

I've been disappointed in the 12 region officiating this year and I thought they struggled again tonight. The game was almost too much for them.............IMO.

If Cal was his coach he would say he's his 6th starter.

I thought Robins was the difference in the game. Looks like a starter to me.

Elkins is the reason I'm holding off on my prediction. He's obviously a difference maker and it will definitely change the dynamics of the game with him being out of the game. If he's not playing then I'm on the fence on who I'll pick. If he plays I have to give the edge to Boyle. I really hope he gets healthy and is able to finish out this year strong. Seems like he's a lot to deal with over the past few years with injuries and illness.

I don't have a prediction yet but this should be a great atmosphere and I'm looking forward to it!

The last I heard was that the committee said it was too far on one side of the region so some teams would have to travel too far too get there. My initial thought was that would also be true for Pulaski wouldn't it.

WJ came out with intensity and Mercer looked like they were just going through the motions in the first quarter. Dow and Faulkner were in foul trouble and on the bench about 3 and half minutes into the first quarter. WJ shot 29 free throws to Mercers 9. The district certainly got a lot more interesting after tonight.
