bloviate To bloviate is to talk, but not just to chat. To bloviate means to go on and on and on and on, usually in a pompous way. Can you hear the blow in the word bloviate? That's a clue that someone bloviating is blowing some serious hot air. When someone bloviates, he is speaking in an empty, pretentious, full-of-himself manner. This word is often associated with politicians, who probably invented bloviating. When someone is talking a lot and saying a little, they're bloviating.

CovCath and Highlands HAVE to play Harrison Co and Holmes. Combined, they were 2-20. Take them away, and the CovCath opponents record is 69-47. Highlands is 65-50. Both teams play fairly challenging non-district schedules and being 4A schools, you have to remember they are just a bit smaller than Trinity and St X.

Having a basketball or wrestling championship helps you how in football? You should be happy that you have finally gotten out from under the perennial home coming game for your opponents umbrella.

I understand that but it seems the losses don't count to one, only the wins. It's like the losses never happened.

There is a chance NoKY could have 5 teams in the finals, If SK gets by Dixie this week, I will be thrilled to root for the Neers to bring home the gold.

You may have EARNED some borderline disrespect, simply because you seem to respect no one or their opinion, (unless they agree with you which is nearly impossible) but I haven't seen anyone disrespect the Neers. Saying they believe another team is better than SK is not disrespect.

Why funny? It has been the case over 50% of the time for the last 50+ years. Can't say the same for the teams playing in Crestview Hills. If my math is correct, those teams have accounted for approximatley ZERO titles.
