The potential this group has ...you could very well see a 7-3 or better regular season ending. I honestly believe a 1 or 2 spot in district end. I would Love for the school to host a playoff game . Great for the program and community !!

Pleasant and London both will put up huge numbers with Scott's power running attack !!!

Marksberry is a great coach !! I will give ya that for sure !! Sk is very fortunate to have him . If my son wouldn't be playing where he is Sk would of been our next choice . He is great for the kids , and program . True class act !!

I would allow him to move forward with football, if you can find a good D3 school to accept him academically with a scholarship. If he enjoys the game and grades and education is being met ... Live life and make memories and enjoy it while you do !!!

I think Scott and Dixie game could be a good one if your an Eagle !

The Cooper game , was definitely a game Scott as a whole did not play well together. The other 9 games played were much better of a performance as a whole for the Eagles. Gage was a young sophomore at age 14 handling his own against much more experienced and older athletes last season . It is games like Cooper that help teach younger athletes a lesson to deal with losing. It is a part of a game noone likes to experience. He also had standout games like going up against a physical Newport line with college bound athlete Brendan Johnson . Gage and Ron did very well shutting down Johnson, that game and did well many other games to help our running game to be as successful as it was . The experience of last season mistakes and accomplishments as a line , is why I say Scott had that year to mold some good talent together and will be a force to be dealt with if coach utilizes the strength of his line and runs off this youngmans butt . This young man as well as Rice will be playing at the next level .

Yeah. I figured that the school would still move forward with a camp .. It's just he had spoke to me through winter up until January about my son , and who knows if this new guy even knows anything about my son . But that's just the way things go .. It will all workout , in the end .

He invited my son to a camp this spring held by Thomas More . I guess there goes that camp . Good luck to him and his new position.

I agree . I have seen several kids and family's make the jump to kenton county . I know of a few family's personally That moved thier kids to Taylormill and not regretted it one bit . Good luck to Boone in thier decision and the future of the program . I do wish them the best of luck !!!

As far as surprising people this season .... Scott has picked up a few traditionally and respected teams to play . They pull off a win or two out of that group along with playing well in the district. I believe people will be shocked. They play Dixie, Newport central Catholic, Sk, Conner, all out of district games .. If they win 3 of those ? Would u be surprised ???

I do agree... Dan does need to make some adjustments when not running the wing. He needs to show a few different looks And with 2 quarterbacks . I honestly think , you may see some new looks this season. I also feel they should pound the ball up the middle and utilize the bulk of the line and bounce outside as needed with the pulling guards or tackles . The talent is there .....just needs to use them all where they can shine

Scott lost a total of 13 seniors only 5 were key contributors. They have a solid experienced talented group returning

They are without Lunsford...he transferred to Lloyd a month ago .

Scott has beefed up the out of district play taking on Newport Central Catholic. Dixie. Simon kenton. It will be interesting where Scott will finish In thier district. Maybe host a playoff ....first one in schools history . Scott could be a sleeper at 5 or 6 Spot. Big things are happening in Taylormill.

If u build it ....they will come... They have a good established 6 year foundation, built from great coaching and a great facilities with a community hungry to win !! The athletes want to play here .... It's a great thing here !!

I have only seen the youngman play once . This was last season against Scott. He seemed not to get much protection From his Offensive line and rushed several passes. I would have to see him play more and blocking to be better beforegiving him a true evaluation.

I have said it before, and I will say it again...O'Hara is the better decision as far as a leader and quarterback for this team . I have seen this kid 's development ever since his first year in the bcpwfl and in high school. He is a true athlete, and from a family with athletic genes. Infact I always tease , really wish tbis young man would move to Taylormill ky. Football could use him and I am positive the basketball team could .. But in all seriousness, I would go with himthe next 2 seasons as your starting quarterback.

Yeah..I agree Scott does have the talent in the coaching department as well as the athletes.

Good question !! Size inside has been Scott's main issue all season . They went with a smaller faster team ..then size ??? Maybe a big guy inside would of been a way to go ?

They run A fast paced power wing offense. Many different stunts out of that formation. This style works well with the running attack and utilize the size and talent . Defensively more in a 3 ..5 setup

Scott has struggled with the big rival games ... Covcath and Simonkenton and now Dixie . These games were not even close this season. They were able to play Holmes very well in the earlier part of the season .

True... However Scott is moving in the right direction , for the program.
