It has to be the right person , but I am sure it is rare , but possible it can benefit both the program and the new hired coach with minimal experience. One must get an opportunity, and get a chance eventually.

Yes . They have Fisk as a defensive line coach , and Dave Simpson and his son Miles Simpson will work together , as Dave will be Defensive coordinator and Miles Simpson, will work with running backs and linebackers . Brad Tucker is also added to the staff , as a coach . I think with the staff, and the returning players, Scott will be just fine come August.

The other key point to staying competitive with lower numbers besides the injury bug, is the conditioning and stamina of these few athletes, that need to not only play both ways , but be a factor on both sides of the ball . Play after play. Last season , I did see some issues with the conditioning throughout the season , and I HOPE this season , they can keep that intensity up as it always is in July when the real practicing begins.

The name escapes me right now . He is still waiting on approval to play from the state ? He has not been allowed to participate yet.

The problem is we need the help of a few athletes in the halls to step up and play recievers and to sub in as needed. Rumors are Andrew Trame,Jake Ohmer, Andrew Dixon ,Vinny Dumalo and a wide receiver transfer from Sk. His name escapes me ...These guys should be able to contribute in some ways . All very athletic.

Yup !! Also a week before playoffs. Scott can't afford injuries, they are not that deep talent wise . They have enough talent , just need to be smart and keep everyone healthy in order to advance deep into Bowling Green. That being said .....Scott will probably pull starters halftime and Sk will then be too deep for them.

Berling is a good athlete, and a great impact on this team . I look forward into him doing big things on defense this season . His dad also played for Scott years ago !! It is great to see family's and talent returning to see this program through !!!

I think Hicks plays the game well and has a great nose for the football, however I wouldn't say best player at Scott . There are several kids getting college looks that are very good and I would say could end up at smaller to mid level D1 schools. I think Tucker will end up at a large D1 after all said and done . Hicks should play at the next level , probably a good D3 school.

I like Perin. He is very athletic but he is a small framed kid for a varsity Quarterback as of now. I think they will go with Fitzgerald.

I think they do have a shot to make some noise in 4A. I do like the more competitive schedule. I predict they will win thier district and could even go undefeated in the district.

Are u saying Rice , London, and Pleasant? What schools are in the hunt and which one do u believe will go to the biggest D 1 school ?

My bad .. Lack of better words . They return many . Not several. Geesh. But anyways ...I see them winning 5 or 6 games and playing very well . Good luck this season .
