  1. Christian Academy Louisville hires Chad Carr as new boys head basketball coach. Wouldn't call this the best hire....
  2. CAL up 2-1 going into bottom of the 6th when the Chargers Zac Ching hits an opposite field solo HR to tie the score at 2. In the top of the 7th, sophomore Dylan Sexton counters with a solo HR to put CAL up 3-2 and that ends up being the final score. Juniors Brett Cohoon and Aaron Blackburn pitched for CAL.
  3. I know these players are not from NKY but Easton McGee (think it is Hopkinsville) and Jacob Abbott (Lafayette) are probably two of the best players in the state.
  4. It amazes me how in football (with the helmet on), not many parents seem to care if their son i playing or not. But in baseball and basketball (as forementioned), they can see that their son/daughter is not playing and have to voice their opinion.
  5. Placed top 5 in AAU Nationals in Florida last 2 years playing their own age. Have played up in many of their tournaments. Solomon Mathis (Kentucky Country Day but transferred from Christian Academy Louisville), Dylan Dunbar, Davis Bryant (Crosby Middle School), Marshon Ford, Tone Wales, Nick Olsofka (Christian Academy- Louisville) Ahmad Price, Alvin Thomas, Kobe Stanton, Anthony Wales are all from surrounding Louisville schools. (Don't know many of these kids' schools but I am pretty sure all are still in middle school) JJ Reed and Nathan Stonecipher are from Paducah. That's all I really know about them with some help.
  6. Another one I have heard about is Jack Schneider (Daviess County). Up to 87-88 mph already.
  7. I know the Reece family pretty well and he is a very good player, but not a great player.
  8. I will start it off and say Jordan Adell (Ballard). It can be as many as you want.
  9. Ram, I got your email, but would not let me reply. I would be fine to do what you asked. Thanks.
  10. Any news on the Christian Academy Louisville job opening?
  11. Riley Thompson (Christian Academy Louisville) (even though that is a given)
  12. To piggyback off of the hitting and pitching threads, I created this one. Reminder: this is for the whole state.
  13. Combs pitched 5 2/3, Rundle pitched a 1/3, and Miller pitched an inning (5 walks and three runs scored in the 7th inning) in a 4-1 loss to Tates Creek on Friday night.
  14. I'm not sure. But Fieger might not have pitched, the iscore could be wrong.
  15. Named to John Sickels (one of the best prospect gurus) sleeper prospect list (toward the bottom): http://www.minorleagueball.com/2014/4/28/5656078/the-2014-sleeper-alert-list-prospects
  16. Yes I am positive. Here is the link to the iscore (click on his name if you want to see that he pitched under players): http://data.iscorecentral.com/iscorecast/baseball/scorecast.html?g=b504dad9-9ed5-4ced-ae06-60ad75eed240&dg=cdda79f49d0d3a3ab3a08fcac82977a699c8c455 Edit: This is CAL's iscore, so it could be wrong.
  17. Fieger pitched 5 innings and gave up 10 runs, then Rundle pitched the 6th. CAL used 6 different pitchers who have barely pitched before.
  18. Yeah was wondering why he wasn't in the game. Thanks
  19. Winning 24-18 right now. Jalen Perry leads the way with 9 points.
  20. Playing the Jackson Tigers (MS) right now. That is Malik Newman's team. Did not see that they were video streaming the game. Here is the link to Gamechanger: GameChanger | Free Scorekeeping, Stats for Baseball, Basketball and Softball | GameChanger
  21. I think it was said earlier in the thread that he did not make the trip with the team to Sacramento because of an injury.
